00:00We're now seeing some strength in the number three odds, which is Vijay Edgecombe.
00:04I would be very careful chasing this steam.
00:07There are plenty of rumors around Philadelphia trading the pick.
00:11And I do not know if Philly trades the pick, if it's going to still be Vijay Edgecombe.
00:16I do think if the Sixers stick and pick, I think Vijay is the rightful frontrunner.
00:20I do think that there's no way they draft Ace Bailey after all of the stuff that happened.
00:25And I think Khan Knipple or maybe Trey Johnson would have an opportunity if Philly sticks and picks.
00:33But again, that's why Vijay has that favorite status.
00:36But I would still be careful.
00:37Also, I think Philly, from what you hear around the league, Philly kind of wants to trade the pick.
00:44And maybe they're trying to get everybody to think they want Vijay.
00:48And maybe that's not even their favorite guy if they are forced to pick.
00:51It's 2-1 right now for Khan Knipple to go fourth overall.
00:55That pick, again, belongs to Charlotte.
00:57Same number for Trey Johnson to go fifth overall.
01:01Ace Bailey is the favorite to go sixth at plus 260 to Washington.
01:06Plus 230, Jeremiah Fears to go to New Orleans.
01:12To go seventh overall, I should say.
01:13And then you start to get those bigger numbers a little bit as things start to open up.
01:19We are now getting top 10 pick odds.
01:21We're getting odds to be a top 20 selection as well.
01:26Thomas Sorber really catches my eye, actually, in that market.
01:30But has there been anything through the odds, Coach, that has started to catch your eye?
01:37Well, a couple things.
01:38I got to see what Philadelphia makes the pick.
01:41Because I'm going to say something that maybe made people think I'm crazy.
01:44I think there's a world that they draft Khan Knipple at three.
01:47I think they need spacers, especially if a guy like Maxie can get downhill.
01:53McCain can shoot the ball, but he can get downhill.
01:55Obviously, the attention that someone like Joel Embiid gets.
01:59That's why a guy like Kelly Oubre was good for Philadelphia because of his ability to shoot the ball from three.
02:03So I think Khan Knipple, who I think is more – I think Kevin made a point before the show we were talking.
02:09He's – Khan Knipple's more athletic than he plays.
02:14And I think that's something where you look at the eye test, you're like – not that athletic.
02:19But then you see him, like his measurables.
02:21You're like, oh, well, this guy's – outjumps this guy in the vertical.
02:23He does a shuttle run better than this guy.
02:25So I think Khan Knipple at three.
02:28Guy that I'm looking at is – as a coach, I start thinking about, like, positions of need.

02:34So I'm looking down this draft board.
02:36I'm seeing, you know, a point guard possibly needed with Utah.
02:41I'm looking at – Washington could use a point guard.
02:44I'm looking at – well, obviously they're good with New Orleans unless they trade something like DeJounte Murray.
02:49I think they're not happy with quickly in Toronto, point guard.
02:54And then a long-term solution with the Rockets who have the 10th pick.
02:57I wonder that's being used in a trade.
02:59So to me, the kid from – and I'm going to butcher names all draft.
03:02If I do it every year, Igor, I think it's Devin, the point guard out of BYU.
03:10Someone I'm very intrigued with.
03:12And him to go in the top 10 right now is at plus 3 – I think it's plus 390.
03:19I think it's a way if teams start drafting on what they need, Kevin, he could find his way into the top 10.
03:24You know, as of now, this may relate to some of the talks that we had pre-show, but you're very high on Malawatch.

03:34So would you be looking at him as a top 5 pick?
03:37Because that might be a little bit of a reach.
03:38I understand that.
03:39Or would you look to nail him down to a specific pick?
03:42Because if we are talking this through, I think it comes down to is there going to be a trade?
03:48Because if there's a trade out of – as we were alluding to before, if the Nets move up to get 3, that will change how things transpire down from 3 to 6, essentially, because it comes down to the need.
04:02Because if we're looking at – if the Nets do trade up and do take Ace Bailey, as we're kind of alluding to last segment, I don't think the Hornets will take a big, and I don't think the Jazz will take a big.
04:14So then it would lead to what happens after that.
04:18I think Malawatch has kind of been a product of some of the, oh, we like this guy, just to see who will be willing to trade up, because there's only one come on Malawatch in this draft.
04:28He's a – look, the floor for this kid is minutes winner.
04:31He flirted with breaking the single-season offensive rating record this past year.
04:36He just didn't meet the minutes requirement.
04:38The problem is some of the range that we see him projected to go, 9, 10, Phoenix might own the pick.

04:46Now, Phoenix, I'm sure, would draft him, but also, is Phoenix going to own the pick?
04:52So there's just a lot of trickiness with some of this draft stuff.
