00:00All right, earlier this week, a wild week in the NBA got started in a wild way.
00:05NBA draft lottery on Monday evening in somehow some way with a 1.8% chance and a plus 3,900 number.
00:14The Dallas Mavericks are picking first overall in the 2025 NBA draft, winning the Cooper flag sweepstakes.
00:23My favorite part of this was the report we got yesterday from ESPN's Tim McMahon saying it is confirmed he is hearing from sources the Mavericks are not going to trade that first overall pick and intend on selecting Cooper flag like that needed to be a report.
00:41But when Nico Harrison is behind the wheels of steel, maybe that does need to be said.
00:46What was your overall reaction to the Mavericks winning the Cooper flag sweepstakes in the NBA draft lottery on Monday?

01:03How did he give us, like, this trove, this once-in-a-maybe generational talent at Cooper flag?

01:14If they traded Cooper flag, he wouldn't make it out of the city alive.
01:19But what sets this up, interesting, is what happens after that?
01:24When you look at the second pick with San Antonio, do they go get Dylan Harper and play Harper with Castle and Fox?
01:33Or do they look at that and package a couple of guys and, let's say, I don't know, call Milwaukee?
01:39Do you want Giannis, right?
01:42And then, obviously, the third pick with Philadelphia, what do they do?
01:44It's going to be interesting with Philadelphia with regards to who goes two.
01:49If Ace Bailey goes two, do they move that pick?
01:52Because Harper with Maxie McCain, I don't know if it works, but if Harper goes two, Ace Bailey can slide into that small forward spot with Philadelphia.
01:59But I do expect, honestly, a lot of movement and trades because these now teams have additional assets to move.
