00:00We also, though, have a minus $2,400 number on Dylan Harper.
00:04Again, it is not the $1,000 to win a dollar.
00:06It's $24 to win a dollar.
00:09Still pretty heavy, though, when you consider we don't know who's picking second overall.
00:16I almost would argue against myself, though, and say since we don't know, it's why the Harper price is so strong.
00:25Because the thought is if San Antonio does trade the second pick, whomever then ends up with that pick will draft Dylan Harper.
00:35So, is that the case, JY?
00:40Is there some value then in potentially fading Harper at two?
00:46Do you think the Spurs can have Harper, Castle, and Fox on the roster?
00:50I don't see how it works.
00:52I think the biggest issue that we probably have that no one wants to talk about is Ace Bailey was supposed to be 6'11", and he came in at like 6'7", 6'8".
01:01All right, Rutgers, I guess the Rutgers School of Education does not know how to measure their athletes.
01:08Now, I'm not going to lie, JY is 6'5".
01:09I said I was 6'7", so I guess I lied to myself.
01:12But to me, I think that's where it becomes interesting because I don't know if I would do that.
01:19I would look at if you keep the roster the same is maybe you draft Ace Bailey at two unless there's going to be a move.
01:29And then if there's a trade made, Kevin or Tom, it's going to be based on the needs.
01:34Because I think honestly, I think Harper and Bailey are so close to me that it comes down to not the best available prospect.
01:45It comes down to what my team need is.
01:49So, if it is, you know, let's say for argument's sake, if it was Philadelphia that had the second pick, it wouldn't be Dylan Harper at minus 2,400.
01:58It would be Ace Bailey because you wouldn't need Dylan Harper with that lineup of, you know, of Maxi McCain coming back.
02:06Which then leads to an interesting thing.
02:09If it happens that San Antonio, Tom, does trade two and the need is for Ace Bailey, then you could see Dylan Harper maybe even slide to four, right?
02:23Because of the fact of there is not a necessary need to have Dylan Harper even on the sections.
02:30Right. So, the question is, A, will San Antonio keep the pick?
02:35Yep.
02:35B, if not, who does that pick go to and then what are their needs?
02:40Because if we're talking about, you know, should we be considering Ace Bailey, you know, at 12-1 for the number two pick, that's not the only question we have to be asking.
02:48Do we need to be considering Dylan Harper at three at 50-1?
02:52Yeah, that's the number.
02:53That's the interesting number because, again, it comes down to, again, who has the pick?
02:56Like, so the question is, who do they want to trade with?
03:00Who, you know, who has that need that they, hey, we have to move up.
03:03This is the player that we want to get, that we need to get because the Harper-Bailey in an ideal world or in a normal world where the teams need everything,
03:12you can make the case that either one could go to either spot, but we just don't know who will end up with that number two pick.
03:17So I think ultimately, right, to kind of, you know, to bring together what you guys said, Philly drafting Harper may make less sense even than San Antonio.
03:28But at that point, if you're Philadelphia, you weren't supposed to be in this spot.
03:32And if Dylan Harper has, you know, it has this gap that everybody believes he has over the rest of this class non-Cooper flag division,
03:42you may just have to select him or at three, you stop the fall and trade Dylan Harper to whomever wants to Utah, Washington, come up and bring him into their roster.
03:54And I think that becomes very interesting in that it is, so I'm talking about that through the Philly prism,
04:00if San Antonio does not bring in Giannis or another, you know, huge player that requires them to, you know, give up this selection,
04:10could the Spurs trade with, again, Charlotte, Utah, Washington, Brooklyn, you know, you name it,
04:19and offer up Dylan Harper then at second overall.
04:23And that, right now, the books do believe.
04:26The gap between Flagg and Harper is almost as big as the gap between Harper and Bailey, Edgecombe, Knipple, wherever you land.
