00:00The NL formats here are getting a new player this week, right?
00:03Like in Rafi Devers, did everybody save their money for this player?
00:07They knew this was happening, right?
00:11Yeah, I think, you know, Rafi L. Devers, I want to say a little bit better than like the last guy we got,
00:23which was Keaston Herrera, I believe.
00:25It's probably, yeah, he's probably going to break someone's bank.
00:31I don't think it's going to be me, not because I don't think he can be great.
00:34I just don't think I have the money in order to get him, unfortunately.
00:40Yeah, I'm assuming we have, in that league, we have a $1,000 fab.
00:44I'm assuming probably the highest person has roughly around $800, $900 still.
00:51I'm assuming he's going to go for upwards to $700, $800.
00:57I can't imagine anyone leaves.
00:59Someone's going to put all their money down on Rafi L. Devers, which makes sense,
01:03because like if you wait for next month's trade deadline,
01:08you're assuming someone's going to come into the league,
01:11and that isn't necessarily the case all the time.
01:14And then also, you're losing a month of time.
01:16So, if I had the money, I would spend it on Rafael Devers.
01:20I just don't have the money.
01:23Fair enough.
01:24Okay, if you're not going at the Devers, let's say you don't need the Devers.
01:27How about Mizorowski, if he's out there?
01:29The guy's had a great start to his career, right?
01:32As Craig has pointed out multiple times,
01:34the guy has more wins than hits given up so far.
01:36How do you feel about Jacob Mizorowski?
01:40Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and say the comp on Mizorowski.
01:45Now, this might sound a little crazy for some of the old-timers,
01:48but he looks to me like Randy Johnson when he was first called up,
01:53and he couldn't find the strike zone, but was still completely unhittable.
01:58Like, this stuff is just so nasty.
02:00I don't know if everyone's seen it,
02:02but yesterday he threw a 96-mile-per-hour slider
02:05that just put Willie Castro on his butt.
02:09And it wasn't even like, I don't, like his stuff looks like you can't hit it.
02:14Forget scoring runs.
02:16I'm really surprised when people actually make contact with it.
02:19He is just so incredibly nasty.
02:22I think he's, what, 6'7", throwing 103 miles per hour.
02:27So you're talking about the extension on that.
02:30The ball gets up on the batter so fast, they have no time to react.
02:35I really, like, rookie pitchers can be super fickle.
02:39Like, there's a lot of unpredictability when it comes to rookie pitchers,
02:43but this guy looks so incredibly great.
02:46I would not be shocked to see him throw, you know,
02:50another 60, 70 innings this year of, you know, really solid.
02:56I mean, like I said, I don't know.
02:57Can anyone hit him?
02:59Like, he looks that good, which is just not usually the case.
03:03I don't know.
