00:30other really good choices i was thinking lucas giolito was maybe my other choice earlier in the

00:34week he struck out 10 but uh boy you talk about a player that in a lot of leagues was not owned

00:43going into his first start let alone now his second start i'm gonna guess george that after sunday night

00:51he's gonna be the hottest player on the waiver wire if he's not already

00:55yeah if you didn't claim him last week then you're gonna pay much more money i mean

01:00if he's out there greg and you're in a fab league uh you're gonna become pretty close to blowing your

01:05budget i mean uh to get this guy because he looks that good here uh you mentioned uh more wins than

01:10hits this is a funny little thing uh started first pitch to start his career for the 11 hitless

01:14innings right uh he went there he threw 12 pitches 101 miles an hour or better last night i mean

01:20what don't you like here i might give you one worry let i mean i don't know how the brewers

01:25organization thinks or how they work here uh last year through 90 about 100 innings it was 99 and

01:31change if they do that 40 innings thing 140 he's already at 74 right now so he's already more than

01:38halfway there that could cause you some concern as you're thinking long term here but maybe he's not

01:44around for your fantasy playoffs when they start to shut him down i'm not saying they will i don't know

01:48but we all know organizations nowadays they tend to baby these guys they're not gonna go deep in

01:53the game maybe not let him go throw more than 90 pitches oh when he's at 140 for the year uh we

01:58got to shut him down we can't let him go longer than that or maybe they're gonna give him a break

02:01at some point you know also in early august he has a shoulder inflammation he's assessed for two weeks

02:06just all things you may want to worry about that being said if i'm in the league he's available

02:12i am definitely going in for him tomorrow night yeah gotta do it and and i don't think you're

02:17gonna see many more players called to have this kind of impact the rest of the season george is

02:21right i mean this is this is the time to strike if you're gonna do it uh george how about your ace

02:26of the week we're gonna go to san francisco for this one i gotta tell you i thought about giolito as

02:31well truth is i just didn't want to talk about him all right uh i just didn't want to talk about

02:35giolito so i went with uh logan wepp here there were some other guys i could have gone with as well

02:39here so a bunch of choices here but i don't think we ever give logan webb enough credit

02:44arena right because he's i get maybe it's west coast bias or east coast bias however you look at

02:48here we don't talk about this guy he's been an ace for quite a few years now at the san franc

02:52giants he does pitch in a very good pitchers ballpark right there but he uh shut down cleveland

02:56once again he's been the ace of that step actually the whole entire giant step has been fantastic

03:00here that's why you know they had devers now they're trying to make a run right you got robbie

03:05ray here you have verland that came back i know he's on the broad the party list now so congratulations

03:11to them but uh logo i said i just i just never think we give webb when we talk about aces at

03:16fantasy draft time it's like me just pass over webb you know wheeler oh strider when he's healthy

03:20a school ball we just never even think about webb being that guy and generally year in year out he

03:25is that guy he's very reliable you can always count him in fantasy wise logan webb is my ace of the

03:29week had a great game against cleveland earlier all right and let's go to sam for his ace of the week

03:34it'd be the rays seem to be pumping out aces of the week every week lately ryan pepio eight innings

03:40pitched one and run 11 strikeouts and two walks and george here come the rays right like they got

03:46like two three guys i don't want to face with their rotation they're back to doing this platoon stuff

03:51it seems to be working several games over 500 rays are in this thing

03:56listen the way the yankees are playing the rays maybe in first place by the end of this week hell

04:01maybe by the end of the weekend uh so yeah they look great here and i thought about pepio as well

04:05rasmussen has looked good here shane badz remember shane badz was terrible earlier on now he's figured

04:10it out here uh bradley letell have been solid you don't need everyone to be great but yeah pepio has

04:15been very good came over from the dodgers all last year uh i don't know if you can rely on him to start

04:19in start out he's not that guy he's not he's not truly an ace but he's pitching well right now

04:24the entire braves team is playing very well here they are that team they're an annoying little team

04:29i might once again play little devil's advocate sooner uh sooner rather than later that road

04:35schedule is starting right we're not gonna play many home games at all let's see how that affects

04:39the entire team there but the rays right now look fantastic
