00:31generally doesn't believe in uh paying the money for top-notch starters right that's been his history

00:36doesn't like doing it uh for various reasons we know stars starting pitchers get hurt here he doesn't

00:40want to pay the big money for guys who just aren't going to play but they have a lot of issues right

00:44they're going to have to make a reinforcements by the deadline here which they can do I mean they

00:47have a truckload of young prospects they can get whoever they want here uh Alcantara is not going

00:52to the Mets there's no way Miami Trades Amendment Division even if the Mets were interested here

00:55but they can go out and get whoever they want here but they're going to need to add reinforcements

00:59here I think we're already seeing it the Mets had a big lead over Philadelphia at one point

01:03now they're in second place I think Philadelphia's going to pull away as the season goes along here

01:06hell they may be up by three games by the end of the weekend here so no I don't believe the Mets

01:14will be Philadelphia I think that's our wild card team which is what they were last year right they went to

01:18the uh the National League Championship Series where they lost to the Dodgers here so I think they'll

01:23be very similar again they'll get in there but I still think the Mets gonna be a lot likely uh

02:16almost at 30 home runs this year which is kind of crazy he's got the most for a catcher in a single

02:22season at the all-star break ever past Johnny Bench the record for home runs by a catcher in a full

02:28season is Salvador Perez in 2021 he at 48 I don't even remember that wow that's crazy uh all right

02:34buy or sell Cal Raleigh 49 or more home runs this season breaks the record yeah a catcher is so tough

02:46here you get hit by foul balls you get hit by bats runners and everything else you got to do here you

02:50got to worry about the pitching staff Seattle's not a great hitters ballpark here uh that being said

03:10you know he gets the foul ball off his hand that can certainly affect well what he's doing here
