00:00Refuses to swim.
00:15So this is a typical Isle of Man Glen, a dog.
00:34A few rope swings and things alongside, lots of different entrances into the Glen, like
00:48there.
00:53And it gets very muddy, especially because there's been rain in the last few days.
01:12This dog doesn't like to swim, so he doesn't go in the river.
01:20Along most of the route, there is very little housing.
01:50There's a housing estate along there somewhere, and above us there are a few posh houses.
01:58But this field is a bit less grassy.
02:05And this area is quite flooded, and the dog doesn't seem to like that.
02:15I've only seen a couple of other people.
02:25There's a dog.

03:32Walnut trees fall in the years but two trees like this collapsed the last few days with heavy rain
03:42this part of the Glen opens into a more of a canyon
03:57let's see here
04:03another peculiarity of the Glen and all glens in the Isle of Man are these
04:10which are little houses and doors that people have built for the fairies
04:23many of these have been designed by children the dog's still wondering what I'm doing
04:27a little stick
04:43she won't bother it's too lazy come on
04:55the fairway viaduct carries the road bridge and the electric tram across the Glen
05:17the electric tram runs from Douglas about two kilometers to the south uh all the way up to
05:32Mamsey about uh 18 20 kilometers to the north
05:37the south and this area is often the starting point for many people as they can park nearby
05:57don't know how much further we're gonna walk
06:08so this part opens into a kind of
06:12narrow and deep water canyon
06:26keep going dog
06:30so this part is a bit busier
06:31so people can park their cars nearby because people can park their cars nearby or people can also take the tram
