The Isle of Man is full of surprises — it’s larger than you might think, with over 150 kilometres of coastline and covering more than 570 square kilometres.

In the north, the town of Ramsey stands out as the island’s third largest settlement and its largest town by definition (Douglas and Onchan, though more populous, are classified as a city and a village respectively).

Just beyond Ramsey, you’ll find the scenic low hills of Maughold, open plains stretching toward the Point of Ayre, and a scattering of charming villages like Bride, Jurby, and Andreas.

The coastline here offers a peaceful mix of long beaches, some sandy, others pebbly — ideal for a quiet wander or a coastal adventure.
