Despite having one of the world's largest population of king cobras, tourists are far from deterred and come to Malaysia in greater and greater numbers. Few would to be found in capital Kuala Lumpur, which is a modern, skyscraper filled urban jungle with an amazing and diverse population. The Petronas Twin Towers were once the world's tallest buildings, and offer breathtaking , multi-angled views. The city also boasts beautiful art galleries, open spaces and an impressive cluster of shopping malls and amusement parks. Gunung Mulu National Park on the island of Borneo is surrounded by dense rainforest, filled with incredible wildlife. At its heart is the Deer Cave, the world's largest natural cave with a depth of 1,000 ft. If street art's your thing, you'll have to visit Malacca for a deep look into the cultural mixes that epitomise the modern country. To the extreme north is Georgetown, the second largest city with a beautiful, colonial-style centre and fantastic street food. Langkawi Island is a beautiful nearby tourist hotspot, endowed with beautiful beaches, a well-maintained Geopark and a hyper-chilled ambiance that'll dissolve any latent stress.
