'Why Wouldn't You Arrest That Man?': Trump Questions South Africa's President During Meeting

In his Oval Office meeting with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, President Trump questioned Ramaphosa about why he hasn't arrested a politician who had called for the deaths of white farmers.

00:05As government, as my own party, we are completely opposed to that.

00:11We, in 1955, adopted a document which said,

00:15South Africa belongs to all who live in it.

00:19But why wouldn't you arrest that man?

00:21That man said, kill the white farmers, kill the white farmers,

00:25and then he danced, and he's dancing, dancing,

00:27and it's, kill the white farmers.

00:29I think, I'm not sure, but I think if somebody got up in Parliament

00:33and started saying, kill a certain group of people,

00:36he would be arrested very quickly.

00:41That man is going all over South Africa,

00:44and that's not a small party.

00:46That was a stadium that holds 100,000 people,

00:49and I hardly saw an empty seat.

00:51That's a lot of people. That's a lot of representation.

00:54And those crosses, we have dead white people.

00:58Dead white farmers, mostly.

01:01And you take a look at Australia.

01:03They're being inundated, and we're being inundated with people that want to get out.

01:07And their farm is valueless. It's valueless.

01:11And they just want to get out with their life.

01:14And this is a very serious situation.

01:19And if we had a real news or a real press or media, we don't have that,

01:24because they won't talk about this, because they're all guys like that idiot.

01:27But if we had a real press, it would be exposed.

01:31And you know the beauty of exposing it is it's like a cleansing action.

01:34When it gets exposed, it'll get fixed. That's when it'll get fixed.

01:37But people don't talk about it.

01:39And I'll tell you who's talking about the thousands of people that are fleeing South Africa right now.
