In this full, uncut footage from the White House, U.S. President Donald Trump confronts South African President Cyril Ramaphosa with graphic video evidence alleging violent attacks on white farmers in South Africa. The meeting takes a dramatic turn as Trump declares, “I have proof,” and demands action. Ramaphosa, visibly unsettled, asks for the video to be stopped and requests the discussion be moved behind closed doors. The South African government has dismissed the claims as false and inflammatory. This unprecedented exchange revives global debate over land reform, racial violence, and international diplomacy. Watch the full clash here.
00:00We were lucky because we were the great Nelson Mandela who taught us how to create peace, to make peace.
00:07So we were imparting some of those lessons to him, some of those learnings.
00:12And I specifically mentioned to him that this is how Nelson Mandela taught us,
00:18that when you want to have peace in a country, do it on an unconditional basis and sit down and talk.
00:26And that's precisely what I'm sure he's going to heed.
00:30Well, we're going to see what happens with that one.
00:32There's a lot of hatred. There's a lot of death. It's a bloodbath.
00:37It is, unfortunately.
00:39I get the satellite pictures of that field, of that killing field.
00:44You never saw anything like it in your life. It's horrible.
00:47It's a horrible thing that it goes on, but I think we've made big progress.
00:51Mr. President, this time, what will it take for you to be convinced that there's no white genocide in South Africa?
00:59Well, I can answer that for the president.
01:03I'd rather have him answer it.
01:06I'd rather answer that.
01:08My president will respond to you.
01:10Thank you, Mr. President.
01:12It will take President Trump listening to the voices of South Africans, some of whom are his good friends, like those who are here.
01:23When we have talks between us at our quiet table, it will take President Trump to listen to them.
01:29I'm not going to be repeating what I've been saying.
01:32I would say, if there was Afrikaner farmer genocide, I can bet you these three gentlemen would not be here, including my minister of agriculture.
01:45He would not be with me.
01:47So it will take him, President Trump, listening to their stories, to their perspective.
01:54That is the answer to your question.
01:55But, Mr. President, I must say that we have, no, no, wait, we have thousands of stories talking about it, and we have documentaries, we have news stories, and that, is Natalie here, somebody here to turn that?
02:12I could show you a couple of things, and I would, I just, I have to, it has to be responded to.
02:19Yeah, sure, we do.
02:19So, let me see the articles, please, if you would, and, excuse me, turn the lights down, turn the lights down, and just put this on, it's right behind you, Johan.
02:31There's nothing this government can do, with or without you, people are going to occupy land.
02:37We require no permission from you, from the president, from no one.
02:43We don't care, we can do whatever you want to do.
02:45Who are you to tell us whether we can occupy land or not?
02:48We are going to occupy land, South African, occupy land.
02:53That's who we are.
02:54So, if I want to know, I can withdraw my membership from this useless parliament.
02:58Honorable.
02:59Honorable.
03:01Yes, honorable member.
03:02You must never be scared to kill.
03:06A revolution demand that at some point there must be killing, because the killing is part of a revolution act.
03:15The killing is part of a revolution, because the killing is part of an army.
03:34The killing is part of a revolution.
03:36The mayor of D.A.M.P.E. is a white man.
03:50So these people, when you want to heal them hard, go after a white man.
03:55They feel a terrible pain because you have touched a white man.
04:01Not because Mashaba and Soni will not be touched, they will be touched, don't worry.
04:09But we are starting with this whiteness, we are cutting the throat of whiteness.
04:15So to kill Yamasa, kill the poor, the farmer, kill the poor, the farmer.
04:26Kill the poor, the farmer, kill the poor, the farmer.
04:43Butt! Butt! Butt! Butt! Butt! Butt!
04:50Butt!
04:52When I do know white people are doing the future, I am saying to you,
04:56when not close for the killing of white people, at least for us.
05:00I am going to see the future.
05:01Yeah but you understand somebody watching that, especially as it gets shared on Twitter.
05:06They freak out, it sounds like a genocidal.
05:08Ah, that's it.
05:38This is very bad these are the these are burial sites right here burial sites over a thousand
06:08of white farmers and those cars are lined up to pay love on a Sunday morning each one of those
06:18white things you see is a cross and there's approximately a thousand of them they're all
06:26white farmers the family of white farmers and those cars aren't driving they're stopped there
06:32to pay respects to their family member who's killed and it's a terrible sight I've never seen anything
06:40like it both sides of the road you have crosses
06:45those people are all killed have they told you where that is mr. president no I'd like to know
07:03where that is because this I've never seen okay I mean it's in South Africa
07:10what would you like president Ramaphosa to do about the situation I don't know I don't know
07:37oh look these are articles over the last few days death of people death death death horrible death
07:51death I don't know but you know that anyone white South Africans are fleeing because of the violence
08:00and racist laws and this is all I mean I'll give these to you so when you when you say what would
08:08I like to do I don't know what to do look at this white South African couples say that they were
08:14attacked violently well I could do that look here's burial sites all over the place they're all these
08:22are all white farmers that are being buried he asks about a jet that was given first but you know
08:29you're you are so big you're such a bad report this is one after another this family was wiped out I'm just
08:44looking well I think it's I think the videos are so no no when you look at the videos I mean how does it
08:58get worse and these are people that are officials and they're saying that kill the white farmer and
09:03take their land that's what I have other friends in South Africa people that left one in particular
09:10that says it's you can't go there he said they were take your land they take your land and they kill
09:17you it's okay and they say it's okay to do it now I we're going to talk about it regret but this is a
09:23tremendous look this is story recent these are all people that recently got killed yeah and I don't
09:30know how it can get any worse and you know the man that you saw the men that you saw the people that
09:38you saw that those are officials those are people that were in office they had one March they had a
09:45dance in your parliament whatever you may call it legislature and let me clarify that yeah let me
09:52clarify that because what you saw the speeches that were being made one that is not government policy we
10:00have a multi-party democracy in South Africa that allows people to express themselves political parties to
10:08adhere to adhere to various policies and in many cases or in some cases those policies do not go
10:16along with government policy our government policy is completely completely against what he was saying
10:26even in the parliament and they're a small minority party which is allowed to exist in terms of our
10:35constitution but you do allow them to take land no no no no to allow them to take nobody and then
10:42when they take the land they kill the white farmer and when they kill the white farmer nothing happens
10:48to them no there is quite nothing happens there is criminality in our country people who do get
10:55killed unfortunately through criminal activity are not only white people majority of them are black
11:03people and we have now the farmers are black the farmers are not black we are I don't say that's good
11:09or bad but the farmers are not black and the people that are being killed in large numbers and you saw
11:16all those grave sites and those are people that loved ones going I guess on a Sunday morning they told me
11:21to pay respect to their loved ones that were killed their heads chopped off they're they died died violently
11:29and you know I mean we're here to talk about it and I didn't know we'd get involved here but I will say
11:37this that if the news wasn't fake like NBC which is fake news totally one of the worst ABC NBC CBS horrible but
11:46if they weren't fake news like this jerk that we have here we had real reporters they'd be covering
11:52it but the fake news in this country doesn't talk about that they don't want to talk about it but
11:59now they have to talk about it but they won't they this won't even be a subject they'll have him
12:04talking about why did a country give a free think of this why did a country give an airplane to the
12:11United States Air Force okay the United States not to me to the United States Air Force so they could
12:19help us out because we need an Air Force One until our sets Air Force One is being built two of them
12:25being built but Boeing's a little bit late unfortunately so why did they give us a plane
12:30to the United States Air Force that's what that idiot talks about after viewing a thing where thousands
12:36of people are dead I'm sorry I don't have a plane to give you I wish I wish I would take it if your
12:43country offered the United States Air Force a plan I would take it okay but coming back to to this
12:50issue which I really would like us to talk about and talk about it very calmly we were taught by Nelson
12:57Mandela that whenever there are problems people need to sit down around the table and talk about well there
13:04and this is precisely what we would also like to talk about including of course trade matters
13:10investment matters so the issues that concern you as the United States those are all deaths yeah in
13:19many ways I mean one one should say you are a partner partner of South Africa and you are raising
13:26concerns and these are concerns that we are willing to talk to you about let me just add quickly
13:34you know the criminality that we expect experience in our country needs quite a lot of technological
13:43capability and in one of our areas in South Africa we're using US technology which is able to in
13:53many ways identify where shootings are happening and all that and I want to talk about that because there is
14:00the support that we can get from you as the United States to help us deal with all these acts of
14:07criminality and that is what I believe partnership is all about and we are here as a partner so that we
14:14can help each other whenever there are challenges so I'd like us to discuss it and of course outside of the
14:22media so that we sit down and have a really good discussion that will lead to good outcomes
14:29are there any other punitive measures that could be in place should you not be satisfied that
14:38South Africa is fixing some of the very bad things in a vote comments that you tweeted are happening
14:44well there are a lot of bad things happening in you know many countries but this in particular has
14:51been very very bad very bad and because of you know we're going to whole have the whole world watching
14:57in another short period of time because you have the G20 and that's a big deal and it seems it seems
15:03like yeah I mean I want you to look good I don't want you to look bad very good but you we have hundreds
15:11of people thousands of people trying to come into our country because they feel they're going to be
15:15killed and their land is going to be confiscated and you do have laws that were passed that gives you
15:20the right to confiscate land for no payment you can take away land for no payment
