Meet seven-year-old stunt biker Pedro Pavlov - in South Shields with Planet Circus OMG - video Dailymotion

Seven-year-old Pedro Pavlov comes from a family of circus performers - and took to riding a bike like a duck to water.

00:00I just started riding when he was two and my brother got him his first balance bike at the age of two for his birthday

00:05and ever since then he's kind of just flew with it and then a couple years later he got his first Revy

00:10which he'd ride around all day long. He did a couple of small jumps and as soon as we realised

00:17how good he was on a motorbike that's when we got him the Osset which is the bike he's on now.

00:20Where did you get the idea to ride bikes?

00:24When I first saw Poopa jump.

00:26When you first saw Uncle Peter jumping?

00:28Yeah so I've been performing since the age of eight, been riding bikes since I was three

00:34and yeah basically been on bikes and in circus since I was born through generations of my family.

00:45Uncle Poopa has always been my motorbike trainer. The best one.

00:51I was seven when I started training, performing at eight

00:55and then like I said we've got Pedro and Thiago who's also basically training now.

01:00They go in the globe when they fancy it, when they ask to go in but mainly they've taken to jump in and ramps.

01:08So we're just yeah proud to watch them and you know when they're up for it they come and

01:12come and you know knock on my door.

01:15Knock on the door and like come on let's go.

01:17Yeah we want to jump we want our bike so it's whenever they feel like it and want to obviously train

01:21they get out and they get on their bikes and yeah some days they're not feeling it but

01:25they're um yeah they're they're also very into performing and you know being cheeky.

01:32Pedro's done a couple of shows in the globe.

01:34Yeah Pedro's performed.

01:34He's got his first event in Scarborough this year so he'll be joining in OMG Stunt Show.

01:43Yeah so he's got his first event coming up as well.

01:46Being around performances every day it's you know general public that he sees every day and

01:51he's always on his bike somewhere and then people give him attention and

01:54he kind of feeds off that and yeah he's just obviously not shy and

01:58just plays with it really.

02:01So we're currently in South Shields until the 26th which is a bank holiday Monday

02:05all the way up until the 6th of July we'll be doing venues in the northeast which will

02:11include Redcar, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Gateshead and a couple more.
