00:00the Commanders play on Christmas. Thoughts? Yeah, that sucks. I was hoping that it would

00:07actually be a road game so that I could actually like in my mind say, nah, I don't need to be

00:13there. I don't want to be there. I don't want to spend Christmas Day in Appleton, Wisconsin.

00:18So I was disappointed by that. I had faced the reality that they were going to play on Christmas

00:22Day in the last couple of days, especially when that leak for Fox came out that they were going

00:27to play the Eagles on Saturday, December 20th. I knew that was a setup. Well, what's weird is at

00:34least according to Kevin Sheehan and I guess others is it's not Green Bay. It's not Chicago

00:38who is playing in that other game on that Saturday. It's the Dallas Cowboys at home. So we don't get

00:46them on Thanksgiving. Yay, a reprieve, right? People can actually like, I don't know, be with

00:52their kids or family or actually be a human being and not be sentenced to dealing with

00:58the NFL 24-7, 365. But of course, they punish you a different way by putting you on Christmas

01:05Day, which is worse than Thanksgiving Day, quite honestly. Bruce, no one is sentencing you to do

01:11any of this. You can choose not to do it. No, no, no, no, JP. If I told you, you, a dad of two

01:20beautiful little girls that you didn't, that you don't have to be there. I mean, you should

01:27be there, but you don't have to be there. You're a professional. Would you be there? I mean, you

01:32probably have to work for NBC4 is what I'm guessing on Christmas night, right? Or Christmas

01:37Day. You have to work, right? It's not an optional thing. Now, do I have to be there? I guess

01:44I don't. It's one of eight home games, for God's sakes. I need to be there. That's where

01:49your money is made. That's where your connections are made. You know, that's where your information

01:54that you get, that you glean, that you don't pick up on your own. It's the Cowboys and it's

01:59the Commanders. And it's probably at the worst time from what I'm guessing or what I'm hearing

02:04is it's probably a one o'clock game. So it's kind of like, you got to kind of leave home

02:09at 9, 9, 930, which, you know, is early. I mean, I wanted to spend the day with my

02:15kids. Sorry. I mean, I'm sorry if that offends anybody, but you know, that's, that's the

02:19truth. It's understandable, but this is kind of what happens when your team is popular and

02:24this team is good now that they're going to be playing at these times. Yeah. I don't

02:28know what the issue is though. Well, the issue is tell me you don't have kids. I mean, so

02:34there is no issue for you. I hear you on the kids. I, uh, I would have been really

02:39upset if I had to travel on Christmas. That's just left hand up. Tell them the truth.

02:42Okay. Um, so it's better that it's at home for you, which I am happy for. So this way

02:47your kids get to see you in the morning, but, uh, and whatever, but I, you know,

02:50about having to leave your house at nine 30 game. It's a one o'clock is my understanding.

03:02me. I don't believe you that the commanders have tightened up field access pregame

03:07significantly. Right. Right. I don't believe you have field access. I do not. No, I do

03:12not. I am not special. So dog get there at 1245 dog. Have you ever seen traffic trying

03:19to get into that place, especially for a cowboy game on dog. Hold on. It's Christmas. You're

03:25not going to have the usual beltway traffic. I know, but you're still going to have 65,000

03:30people trying to get into Northwest stadium. A lot of them are going to get there at 9.

03:34AM. I bet you can leave your house at 11 and be comfortably sitting in your seat of the

03:40offensive line of the second row of that press box by 1245. JP. How, how has that gone for

03:45me in the past? Do you remember week three in Philadelphia a couple of years ago? But

03:49you also didn't remember a couple of weeks after that at MetLife stadium. Yeah, I do.

03:54You always come in with a suitcase. I'm aware of all of it. Yeah. Yeah.
