Wes Hall believes the Wizards are doing a lot of the things the Thunder worked towards during their rebuild.

00:00But looking at Oklahoma City, and basically this group helped build that over there,
00:05and you start looking at the talent here.
00:06They're very similar to how they're trying to build it.
00:10Do you see the similarities between the two?
00:12I do, even when you look at sometimes you can do a height-weight comparison.
00:16You see a Chet Holmgren, and you see an Alex R, because they're really tall, kind of thin guys,
00:21can play the 4-5.
00:23I see a gathering of a lot of talent, and here's what I mean by that.
00:27You've got Bilal, Tristan, from the previous draft class.
00:30You've got all of last year's draftees from Washington.
00:33You add an A.J. Johnson as well.
00:35Love that.
00:35Then you get this year's class.
00:37Oh, by the way, you add Cam Whitmore?
00:40What?
00:41Like, this is about to be a young, yes, but fun team to watch this season.
00:48I'm not worried about wins and losses.
00:50Obviously, we want to win.
00:51I'm not going to put a number out there and say, we're going to win this number.
00:53I don't know what that number is.
00:55But I know this, the journey is going to be much more pleasurable,
00:58because this is a far more competitive team than I've seen in a long time,
01:02and they have great chemistry with each other.
01:05Dude, I agree with you.
01:06I thought they played hard last year.
01:08I mean, there were some ugly losses, but generally, the Wiz played hard in every game.
