00:00Intimacy is often collapsed with physicality, but intimacy to me is an energetic thing where
00:04somebody holds you, somebody gets you, somebody allows you as a sovereign being to have your
00:08experience and all your feelings. That to me is the definition of love. It's letting somebody be
00:13who they are, express themselves fully without any judgment. There's no greater gift you can
00:17give another human being. I just want to add the disclaimer, doesn't mean that you condone or agree
00:22with their reality, but you are respecting it. It's just, are you a safe enough space for somebody
00:28to share that reality with you? Because if you listen, if you're truly with someone, if you have
00:33presence, then just by virtue of being human, beyond what they say, you'll feel where it's coming from.
00:39So the words start to then become secondary. You're like, oh, first of all, I'm sorry that that's what
00:44you're feeling. But what I'm actually hearing is that you're scared, for example. And they're like,
00:48yeah, I'm really scared. And when you can meet someone there, that's where you feel held energetically.
