00:00G'day from the Bureau, with your national weather forecast around the country for Friday
00:05the 2nd of May.
00:06And we're going to continue to see high pressure dominating much of the country, leading to
00:11dry and cool conditions for many areas.
00:14They're warming up across western areas, and that'll be ahead of a cold front impacting
00:18southwestern parts of WA with showers and gusty winds there.
00:22Elsewhere, fine, dry and mild, the only other wet weather will be across eastern parts of
00:27Australia with coastal showers in New South Wales and more widespread across eastern parts
00:32of Queensland.
00:33And we could see more widespread, heavier showers through parts of the North Tropical Coast and
00:37maybe across northern parts of Cape York.

01:38southern areas.
01:39Melbourne looking at a partly cloudy day and 20 degrees.

02:07and dry day.
02:0823 degrees with lots of sunshine in Adelaide.
02:12Moving over into WA.
02:14Now ahead of this front, we're going to see warm conditions with temperatures in the mid
02:17to high 20s and those winds increasing as well.
02:20Then that cold front will move into southwestern parts of Western Australia during the late afternoon
02:26and evening hours with showers, gusty wind and patchy rain.
02:29Then that might get up into the Perth area as we get into the late part of the day.

02:38While further north staying warm, dry and sunny across northern WA.
02:41And then finally across our tropical north, dry season like conditions really starting to
02:46develop there with warm, dry and sunny conditions through parts of the Kimberley and much of
02:51the NT as well.
02:52But we could still see some lingering showers and storms through Cape York and also eastern
