00:00hi it's DHA's rock and rough and I am Terry Carr I am here with my friend

00:07Kristen from North Star Pet Rescue love North Star love all of their dogs they

00:12do a great job rescuing these amazing dogs a lot of small dogs a lot of senior

00:18dogs senior dogs are always great today this dog is near and dear to my heart

00:21because I cannot believe that he has been in foster so long because he's such

00:27an awesome pup now I will tell you and Kristen will reiterate this he's a

00:32little bit in his foster home running around playing with his foster siblings

00:37he's a little shy on location sweetest little guy you ever met look at the

00:43little face on her me he's like a little bat and I love him he was here at

00:48adoption day cannot imagine how we've gotten from June to now and he hasn't

00:53found a forever home because he's so incredible so Kristen tell us a little

00:57bit about Hermie because he's like you said kind of shy on location but

01:00definitely great with other dogs we think that you know he needs to be in a home

01:05with other dogs to kind of feel secure absolutely so this is Hermie he's

01:08approximately one to two years old he's a chihuahua mix he is housebroken and

01:13crate trained so those are great things he's very cuddly as you can see he does

01:18kind of crawl into you when he wants to feel secure but he's very very playful with

01:22his pups that he lives with in his foster home and yes Terry you're right he

01:26needs to have a confident dog in his new home someone that can just kind of show

01:30him the ropes make him feel comfortable you know show him that everything's okay

01:35and that he doesn't have to be afraid and just you know where he kind of like let

01:39his let loose and be himself he just needs the right home too because he's a

01:43little shy when he gets to you so don't think that you're gonna like open doors

01:47and let him out and stuff because Hermie will probably run he needs some time to

01:52feel like he is in his home look at him I could just get lost in those sweet

01:59little eyes and he's so soft and he has those little velvet ears he's just such a

02:03sweet little guy looking for the second chance at a new life we have another dog

02:09here he's sort of like just watching her like okay whatever I mean this guy is a

02:15perfect guy and can I mention too that he is just so incredibly handsome let's check

02:21out Hermie hanging out at the WDHA studios on DHA's rock and rough meet Hermie from

02:27North Star Pet Rescue Hermie is a young Chihuahua who is beautiful sweet and loving

02:32Hermie is a very quiet guy who can be timid upon first meeting but super sweet and

02:37once he warms up Hermie will stay by your side and show you what a Velcro dog can

02:41really be like Hermie would do great in a home with other dogs in fact North Star Pet

02:46Rescue will only adopt Hermie out with other pups to build his confidence as he

02:50absolutely loves playing with the other dogs in his foster home often cuddling and

02:55sleeping with them too he's a sweet love bug for sure Hermie is housebroken

02:58crate trained and looking for a new home to call his own North Star Pets dot org is

04:08oh he is so sweet and he's so relaxed right now and he's just kind of relaxing falling asleep like

04:14would you like to stay here forever because you can certainly stay here forever with me Hermie is a great

04:19dog and we'd love to see him finally get into a forever home he's just so incredibly cute and people

04:26are we saying you guys get any small dogs on rock and rough small dog a plus this guy could be the

04:32dog for you DHA's rock and rough by the way is being powered by all of my cool friends at hometown
