00:00Hi, it's DHA's Rock and Rough and I'm Terri Carr. I'm here with my good friend Jim from

00:07Sedona Shepherd Sanctuary who has a Shepherd. Oh, she's so beautiful. This is Phoenix. Love

00:13this dog. As you can see, Phoenix is on a cart. She's got some special needs. I always say special

00:19needs, special dog. I had a special needs dog. Just the greatest and it's such an awesome feeling to

00:25have a special needs dog in your home because they just seem, I don't know, a little extra

00:30grateful. Tell us a little bit about Phoenix. What a beautiful girl she is. Well, Phoenix is about five

00:35to six years old. She was brought in as a stray to Newark shelter. When we originally saw her, we

00:42weren't sure if we'd be able to rescue her. We didn't know her age and she was skeptical of even

00:48coming out of her run. But once she came out, she was super friendly. Sweet. And we knew we couldn't

00:54say no to her. Yeah, absolutely. So my Shepherd people, we're definitely looking for you. Maybe

01:00you have, how is she around other dogs? Oh, she loves dogs. So I'm fostering her temporarily and

01:06she loves being around my Shepherd and my lab mix. She's great with large and medium-sized dogs. She's

01:14really good with people. She's really good with kids. We had her at an event down at Red Bank

01:18and everybody loved her. She's just super sweet. Yeah, she really is. Let's check out Phoenix and you can

01:30she's so pretty too. Look at this face. Meet Phoenix from Sedona Shepherd Sanctuary. Phoenix is a

01:38beautiful girl, five years old, and she's a special dog with special needs, although she doesn't know

01:44it yet. Phoenix loves to walk around on her cart, gets along great with all the dogs in her foster

01:50home. She's housebroken, loves going for walks on her cart, and is a super sweet, mellow,

01:56beautiful girl. Phoenix is a really, really easy dog to love. And just look at that amazing,

02:53That goes right to my cell. She's great. She's great in a cart. She can go like half an hour

02:59on a walk with a cart. She's super. She's easy in the house. She's housebroken. You can pop her in a

03:05crate if you need to. You can have her out with other dogs. She's just a perfect dog. And she took to

03:10the cart immediately. Yeah. And she's just looking for a great chance to show a family what an
