00:39And I'm like, George Burge ad friend.

00:42And immediately responded.

00:43So, I don't know if that's you or your people.

00:46I didn't want to, I was self-conscious about that.

00:48But once you asked, I was literally, I had been waiting.

00:51The second it came through, I was like, let's go.

00:55So, I'm like, I'm about to be George Burge's Facebook friend.

01:03And then I went back to 2014 and liked some photos because it was like midnight.

01:12Dude, this song, to say what the kids are saying, this song slaps.

01:17Anytime I hear it when we're playing, listen, we work in radio.

01:19So, we're constantly hearing the music around us.

01:22When I hear it, I just go, no, no, no, no.

01:24And turn that up in the studio.

01:26I love it.

01:27It's got such a good hook.

01:28It's catchy.

01:28It's changing my life, man.

01:30It's one of those things.

01:31I had nothing going on when I put this song out.

01:33And it's just opened every door for me.

01:35It's kind of been the little song that could.

01:37And, you know, it started by getting me a record deal and then got me on some tours.

01:40And then it got on the radio.

01:41And then my first top 40, 30, 20, and now a top 10 this week.

01:45It's just one of those things.

01:46Like, it's completely changed my life.

01:48I mean, this is my first CMA.

02:13And then we got a black suit and a cowboy hat to keep it a little bit Texas.

02:19Well, also, a lot of people might know the song Mind On You, but they might not know that's

02:23the title track to the album that you helped co-write a lot of this new album.

02:27So when you look up Mind On You to learn more, don't just go to the single.

02:31Go to the album because you learn so much about an artist.

02:33What does the album speak to?

02:34I'm so proud of that album.

02:36You know, an album is typically a lifetime of work.

02:38And so getting to put all those songs together, just my sound and what it means to me and

02:42stories of what I've been through and what I'm going through and where I'm at in life.

02:46And it's just all super true to me.

02:48I co-wrote nine of the ten songs on it.

02:50And so it's something I'm super, super proud of.

02:53And to have it come into light and people getting to dig into it and connect with it,

02:57it's the best feeling in the world.

02:59And I have to point a few things out to get to know George a little bit more.

03:02He does have an eagle on his shirt.

03:05So fresh.

03:05And he also went to the same high school as Nick Foles, the biggest legend in Philadelphia

03:08history.
