Peep Show: Pilots Locked Out of Plane

Dave & Chuck the Freak talk about a couple of pilots that were locked out of their plane on the runway and had to enter by climbing through the windshield.

00:00Well, speaking of flying mishaps, last week, some Delta pilots locked themselves out of

00:11the cockpit, and they had to crawl through a window from the outside to get in.

00:23I was like, well, that is probably the most stressful thing you could see if it were like

01:08I'm attempting to climb into the front window of the plane.

01:15I've never tried this before, but it seems to be going pretty good.

01:45And one guy helped the other guy in.

01:50Embarrassing, but not as stressful as the other seat.

01:55Rather hilarious video has emerged of this Delta pilot using a luggage conveyor belt

01:58to enter the window of a Boeing 737.

02:00As the pilot struggles to enter head first, his co-pilot gives him a helping hand, eventually

02:05pushing him in through the window and then guiding his legs to get him fully inside.

02:12So when those things are locked, they're legitimately locked forever.

02:17No one can ever open them unless you're in there.

02:23That's the only way that he could get into the plane.

02:53Although I guess I think, I feel like I've seen a pilot with it open a bit at an airport,

02:58either to get some air in or something.

03:13Those pilots are lucky they're not of the fatter variety.

03:16Well, they went and got the in-shape one.

03:18Yeah, because I've seen some bigger pilots.

03:23Completely stuck in the window.
