00:00Now, moving over to the PFL,

00:02what has the transition been like for you

00:04from fighting for Bellator to the PFL,

00:06buying him and now you being part of the PFL?

00:08What has that been like for you

00:09to get to learn the new bosses and see some new faces

00:11and, you know, just get a whole new lineup

00:13of fighters to face off now against in PFL?

00:17The octagon size, okay, so, you know, nothing different.

00:23One thing that will be different for a lot of the other fighters

00:25but not for you is obviously, you know,

00:26in this tournament format that Bellator are in

00:28for a long time in the PFL,

00:29you know, change their regular season

00:30to this tournament format.

00:32How do you like that, the kind of bracket

00:33going through from one opponent to the next

00:35where you can kind of see your path going forward?

00:37Do you like that better than having to, you know,

00:39than are you used to it?

00:40You feel like your advantage in that

00:42and having gone through Bellator before

00:44is going to be working to your advantage

00:45that it might not for some of these other fighters

00:47who haven't experienced something like this?

00:50Well, it's just like normal competition for me.

00:56The only thing that interests me and make me feel good

01:00is that I get to fight three fights in four months.

01:03So, you know, you have to be strategic and game.

01:07So, I'm known for that.

01:10I know how to survive.

01:11Another element, yeah, another element to this

01:13that a lot of guys don't think of, you know,

01:15people think of the fights like,

01:16all right, just go fight

01:17and then whatever's next is next.

01:18But like you said, you got a finite window here,

01:20a short window that you got to get these three fights in

01:22that you have to make sure you don't come out too damaged

01:24and you make sure, you know,

01:25you're not leaving yourself open to something

01:27that could end up knocking you out of this tournament.

01:29So, that's definitely thinking parts

01:31with a lot of people aren't going to obviously realize

01:33having not done this before,

01:34that maybe you have that advantage.

01:35So, we look forward to that.

01:37You're headlining this first card April 3rd now

01:39down in Orlando.

01:41You'll be going against Koreshkov.

01:43I mean, this is when we were looking at the rosters

01:45before they released what the brackets were

01:47for this fight and this division.

01:48You know, we're saying you guys, two of you

01:51were two of the tops in this division.

01:53You know, when usually a lot of times

01:54you see a bracket like this, guys are kind of,

01:56maybe the best guys are on opposite ends

01:58and they meet at the finals.

01:59You guys are matching up right in the beginning.

02:00What do you think of that, that you're getting

02:01this tough opponent right out of the gates here

02:04in the first fight of this tournament,

02:05the first main event?

02:07Well, like, we got to kick it off with a bang,

02:11put everybody's interest because, you know,

02:13it's on Thursday night.

02:15A lot of people are not really thinking about

02:17watching fight on Thursday night.

02:19So, we got to get the audience involved.

02:21We got to put the best on if we're coming out

02:23on Thursday night and me and Kershkoff is the guy

02:26to set it off with.

02:27You know, he's excited and I'm excited.

02:30And we never crossed paths in the Umbrella Tour.

02:34So, now it's like, you know what I'm saying,

02:36old champion versus new champ type of thing.

02:40So, it's one of the best fights, I think, in my opinion.
