00:00That is starting with the welterweight division 170 pounds. There's gonna be a bunch of names there that you recognize

00:07Let's start hitting on some of those now guys like Andre Korshkov

00:11He's been in Bellator for a long time PFL with fights like against guys like Douglas Lima

00:16You also have John is Bashar from Greece. You have Kikuri

00:20Masayuki from Japan and

00:23Makomed or come on off from Russia and

00:26And then let's talk about some of the other ones that you know

00:28There's some names that we have seen before both in Bellator and the PFL Jason Jackson represent Jamaica right there

00:33Of course the ass-kicking machine former Bellator world champion and top 10 world ranked fighter

00:38He's gonna enter the favor in this one

00:40And I gotta have advantage over a lot of these guys having fought Bellator having fought these kind of things before

00:45But he's got wins over guys like Paul Daly Neiman Grayson Benson Henderson

00:49You know, he has a good birth of experience there from of course his days in Bellator winning that title

00:56He's gonna go against guys like Magomed Umolotov. Well, of course we just saw recently

01:02Fighting for the title with the PFL last season got his first ever loss there against Musaev

01:08You know, there's a tough fight there both those guys undefeated he gets the loss, but you know, he's been around for a while

01:13He's fought PFL for years, you know beat guys like Brendan Ward beat guys like Koreshkov Neiman Gracie

01:19So this is a guy again who has a lot of experience Leandro Silva

01:22you know, he's gonna know what to do in a tournament format know how to go through a bunch of fights and

01:27You know, we'll see what is up for him after his first loss

01:31Some guys make an easy recovery from that some guys, you know that shakes them for a little bit

01:35So we'll see I don't think it's gonna shake

01:37Umolotov because that guy is dangerous. That guy is fierce. That guy can beat you up any which way

01:42So he's gonna be another guy that's gonna be probably one of the favorites or you know top of the line in that one

01:47We'll start to see when odds are released on these who actually is making out of the list as the favorites

01:53And then we'll see when the matchups come out who starts to be

01:55Bet it on as well. You also have Logan Storley from the US

01:58We've seen him many times of course as well in the PFL and Bellator over the years finding guys like

02:04Michael Venom page where he won the split decision for the title

02:07We'll see if he can get back into the title picture here winning this tournament

02:12Also, the last one that we have mentioned there is Florine Zendeli the Albanian who was the 2024 PFL Europe champion

02:19Now he moves up and looks him

02:22To go on the world stage with this one. Just like Dakota Ditcher didn't going from Europe to regular title in the PFL

02:28That's what he wants to do. We'll see if we can get that coming for him after he just won that European title

02:35So a stacked roster there at well to wait for that tournament also what they have released featherweight another situation

02:43We have a bunch of names that you have seen before in the PFL and Bellator and

02:46There should be some interesting matchups that we can get out of this

02:49Let's talk first about Jesus Pinedo from Peru

02:51Of course, he's the biggest star in MMA out of Peru looking to get his 2003 PFL title run

02:58You know repeated he won the title there didn't have that same success last year

03:01But you know

03:02he brought that title home to Peru people loved it got a lot of money now looking to make a bunch more and looking to

03:08Put an even bigger stamp on his record as another champion with the PFL

03:13Also, Nathan Kelly who we just saw from Ireland fighting on that island verse Dagestan card now didn't go that way for him as it did

03:21for

03:22Actually, a lot of the Irish fighters had problems on that card if we're gonna you know be blunt with it

03:26I think most of them actually lost to the Dagestani. So he's looking for retribution

03:31He's looking for recovery as well

03:33Getting back into this tournament at featherweight trying to make his name again with the PFL and erase from people's memories

03:39What just happened there for him in the road to Dubai?

03:43Also on this card Adam Bork's or from Hungary, of course was an exciting Bellator fighter started off his career for and all with them

03:51Then got his first loss that went on another winning streak now coming back from injury

03:56Again after he had to withdraw from last year's PFL season due to an injury

04:02I believe it was an ankle injury when I talked to him next week about his fight about you know

04:07Coming back from the injury what we thinks about this tournament, but he's involved in this one now

04:11Trying to get back on the winning ways as well

04:14And then we'll also see a bunch of guys like Jeremy Kennedy from Canada

04:19You'll see Taekwon Kim from South Korea Gabrielle Braga from Brazil

04:24Eve landu from France who we just saw, you know, we mentioned he was signed a couple weeks going there first announcing this

04:30He was one of the guys that they brought out there as already signed

04:34For this tournament before they even announced all these but he's going to be in the mix for that as well as

04:40Will a guy like molded it?

04:43Kaibula the Russian the killer who won the PFL World Championship back in 2023

04:48Now coming back from injury to prove he's one of the most feared fighters in a weight class

04:51So a couple guys in this system in this weight class that at one in 2023

04:57Didn't have things go their way in 2024 whether it be injury or just they didn't get the wins that they needed now

05:03Looking for redemption here through this featherweight tournament. It is going to be awesome

05:08As we said, we're gonna hear over the next couple weeks from the PFL to divisions a week

05:13I believe and we'll start to talk to some of the fighters as they get ready for this new and improved PFL tournament

05:19No more regular season and playoffs straight bracket tournament Grand Prix style like we used to see with Bellator

05:25So, you know when you look at these names, there are a bunch of guys that I'm very excited about

05:30You know as we talked about with that first I Walter a division

05:34I mean Jason Jackson a new Molotov. Those guys are gonna be heavy favorites. I don't know the odds yet

05:40Obviously, we're just getting these as they've just been released

05:42But we'll start to look into that and look into those for you to see where the value is

05:47Once we see the matchups, of course, that's gonna be a big part of it. That's what we can't forget either

05:50You're gonna see futures maybe on these fighters to win the tournament, but until you see the matchups

05:55It's kind of hard to predict who's going to you know

05:58Possibly take this because not only you're fighting things like injury, but it's all about the style

06:02You know, you could have a guy like Jackson

06:04He think is you know or Molotov who could be the best and should be you know in the finals

06:09But maybe they end up matched up in the semis instead and now you're taking away one of your top prize fighters there

06:16But those guys will definitely be some of the favorites looking forward to seeing the matchups of breaking that down and see double a tournament

06:22By the way, you know if you're looking at it just from the names

06:25I think a guy like Eva and do or you know a guy like Pinedo have to be the ones that stand out the most as

06:32Possible champions in this division of this tournament, of course as we said depending on the matchups

06:37But all that will start kicking off for us in April as you saw in the promo before we got into this

06:43You know, you got fights in April you're gonna keep going on I think September

06:47I'm gonna finish it off at the end of the year with the the championships. It is going to be throughout the year

06:53They go April June September

06:55That's where we're gonna get all these things going on and it's gonna be awesome and can't wait to see it all and different

07:02Money wise here five hundred thousand dollars as a bonus to the champion. It is no longer a cool mill

07:08On you know, just that's what you want and all your purse is taken out of it

07:12It's now you get your fight purse throughout

07:14Tournament and then you get five hundred thousand dollars on top of it if you win

07:18So that's gonna be a big payday for anybody. That's a huge bonus for anybody wins this tournament
