00:00How has that been for you being back out in Cali for all this training camp you said for five weeks

00:07that's a long time to be away from home and be getting ready for this fight what made this shift

00:12to go train out there and how are you feeling? Number one I feel amazing it's a blessing to be

00:18down here and be able to just focus on training I'm a full-time dad I work full-time when I'm

00:26back home I work seven days a week and I take care of my kids I pick them up from school I

00:30take them to school so to come out here and be able to focus on just training it means a lot to

00:37me you know I have not taken this lightly I train two to three times a day I'm in the best shape of

00:44my life at 36 and I'm truly blessed to be in this gym so I'm ready to showcase my skills this

00:51weekend and not move around the first round and continue to do that every fight. Yeah what you've

00:58done is already amazing in the BKFC with you know as I you talk about your kids you post about them

01:03a lot and how important it is for you to be a dad and to get the best for them I mean as a guy who

01:08is also a dad of two you know sometimes three my other daughter is down you know just those days

01:13when I'm sitting there and it's my turn for a couple hours to watch the kids it's like all right

01:17when's mom getting home I need a break here so I can't imagine you you know having them you all

01:22do yourself full-time dad and working how you were able to even fit in training let alone you know

01:27doing what you're doing in the BKFC so congrats to you on everything you've done so far and you

01:32know we can't wait to see what is next this weekend in this great fight out there in California this

01:36is your fourth fight already this year I mean this arc that you've been on going from you know tryouts

01:42early this year I believe what was it January you were trying out for the BKFC and now we're in

01:46November this is already your fourth fight that just shows how much you love to get in there and

01:50mix it up yeah man I told BKFC when I had the tryouts when I was the number one pick I told

01:59them I wanted all the smoke to line them all up you know I don't take any days off I'll be back

02:06at the gym you know Monday I'll be back to working seven days a week Monday my goal is to establish a

02:14foundation for my family to where when they get older they don't ever struggle the way I did you

02:20know I was homeless I was homeless trying to chase a dream I never really had confidence in myself

02:26until now you know back then it was hard to have confidence in myself I didn't even have a roof

02:32over my head so I was taking fights to survive people don't understand like what the how that

02:40feels mentally and what that does to you mentally so I took a lot of fights and I lost a lot and I

02:47won a lot and I never gave up I tried to step away from the sport to be a full-time dad and focus on

02:55being the best dad I can and God brought me back in here so you know I don't want to take it for

03:00for granted and I've been working my butt off every single day and trying to get better every

03:06single day and that way this Saturday I put on a believable performance again when people

03:12been doubting me this whole time so
