00:24So you guys, the last time that you were here, you were talking about a new album in the works.

00:30And you were telling this to Nicole Alvarez.

00:32I feel like it would not be a true 311 interview without Nicole Alvarez.

00:38You're sneaking.

00:46You know, there's no way that I can't, like, we can't do this.

00:55And so let's talk about the new album, Full Bloom.

00:59It is so good.

01:00This album just reminds me of, you know, old school 311.

01:05But it's got a new shine on it.

01:07And so, you know, let's talk about what this album means to you, coming together with this album.

01:14Well, we just really feel like we put our best foot forward.

01:18Some old school elements with some new school sprinkles on it.

01:22And some exciting new production techniques.

01:25And just really happy with the songs.

01:27And the reaction's been great.

01:29And we're going to probably play a couple of them tonight.

01:32Yeah.

01:33I really like that you talked about unity and togetherness with this album.

01:37I think that we need that now more than ever.

01:40You know what I'm saying?

01:42We've always been about unity, and it's now more crucial than ever.

01:47I have to talk to you about it.

01:49We've never talked about my favorite part of a 311 show, and it's the drum circle.

01:54That's some Jedi stuff.

01:55The logistics of it.

01:57How often do you practice, and have you ever dropped?

02:00I've never seen you drop anything, and you know I've been to a lot of shows.

02:03We have never dropped a stick.

02:11But honestly, how long do you practice for that?

02:12I need to know.

02:14We've been doing it for years, so we're practicing on stage as much as we practice off.

02:22I have just one suggestion, and then I'm going to get out of here because I've got to go on stage.

02:26I think to elevate the drum circle, we need to set the drumsticks on fire, and we need

02:31to start doing it shirtless and stop being so selfish.

02:46So do you guys have anything that you love to do around Christmas time, any traditions

02:53It is a Christmas show after all.

02:55Well, we make sure we're home for Christmas.

03:00I've got a ski trip planned with my girls, and it's just a great time to reset and just

03:07be at home with the family.

03:09What do you guys do to kind of take care of the space in between your ears in your life

03:16just for your mental health?

03:17What do you do to keep yourself sane?

03:19You've got to be outside more than you're inside.

03:22Yes.

03:25Or at least fight that fight.

03:28And it can be as easy as that, just to get out of your normal routine, whatever, take

03:31a walk, find a hike.

03:37You guys have always done such a great job of bringing your fans together, making it

03:41feel like a family.

03:43And you guys always do this 311 cruise.

03:45What goes on at these cruises?

03:47You have one coming up in March, I think.

03:50My dad shows up and it goes crazy.

03:53He sets it off.

03:54It's true.

03:55And do you have other bands that join you on the cruise?

03:58Yes.

03:59We've got some exciting bands, and there's just always fun activities, and everyone says

04:03it's the best vacation they've had.

04:05We go to new destinations every time.

04:07We've got new ones planned down in the Caribbean, and it's super fun.

04:12Yeah.

04:13Well, Nicole and I really want to come on one of these cruises.

04:15Intense.

04:16So we've got to make that happen.
