00:00Hi and welcome to our first episode of The Land's Last Lot. I'm Livestock Editor Rebecca Naj.

00:12Each fortnight myself and our Dubbo reporter Elke Debny will be going through some of the

00:17results and trends from recent stud stock sales. Agents say so far the studs with established

00:23client bases are still performing well although averages have been back as much as 25% on last

00:29year. There's also been some increased Queensland activity. There were new northern buyers at

00:35Hillview, Out West, Tamania and Yalgoo sales and in the Central West there's plenty of South

00:40Australian buyers present. Thanks Bec. So far this month we've covered everything from Angus

00:45to Hereford and Cemental sales all the way from Walgurt to Budgenor down in the south and there's

00:51actually been some really good prices. Clooney Range Angus had a full clearance of 187 bulls

00:58to an equal top price of $35,000 to average $16,096. Yalgoo Herefords topped at $40,000

01:08and averaged $10,567 for 37 of 38 bulls. Mudgee's Coffin Creek Angus had an absolute cracker of a

01:18sale with a full clearance of 54 bulls to a top price of $35,000 to average $14,703.

01:28Meanwhile it was a well sought after Angus female that came out on top at Hobbs Livestock. 15 of 17

01:36Angus bulls topped at $16,000 to average $10,133 while 9 of 15 Cemental bulls reached a $14,000

01:46top to average $7,444. Tamania's Northern sale at Walgurt was also strong. The region is having

01:55a ripper season and confidence was high. Victorian Studs sold 102 of 105 bulls at auction to top at

02:03$30,000 and averaged $13,300. Meadow Flat Stud Karoo Angus also had a good result. There was

02:10a full clearance of 74 bulls to top at $30,000 and averaged $10,000. We've got an absolutely

02:17massive run of sales up ahead including Gilman Dyke, Renny Lee, Ironbark and Dunoon. Don't forget
