00:00Ross Millen just reporting on the result of the 2025 Australian Wolf Show Ram sale.
00:06Today we had a good sale. We topped out at $16,000 for a Ram and $13,000 for a U.
00:11$16,000 was for a range view Ram from WA and that was part of the Australian Pairs Championship.
00:19So a great result for that program.
00:22And the $13,000 was for a Collinsville U.
00:24They had a good team of four views that averaged $87.50 so that brought something new to the sale.
00:32Overall we sold about 61 Rams I think and we averaged $46.55 so a little bit back on last year
00:38but we're pretty happy with the result considering the current environment.
00:43The sale was well attended and Rams were offered from New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania
00:51and obviously Victoria and buyers came as far as from Queensland.
00:55So I think overall a good satisfactory result and a good end to the weekend for the 2025 Australian Sheep and Wolf Show.
01:03Yeah, it was fairly tough really, which is expected.
01:08The amount of money people have spent on feeding sheep.
01:11Yeah, and yeah, about what I expected.
01:16What did you make as a top price?
01:18Yeah, pretty good.
01:19Yeah, that was pretty good.
01:21Yeah.
01:21What was your top price today?
01:23$11,000.
01:24And what did you like about the sale topper that you're holding there?
01:28Really good wool, good soft skin.
01:31Yeah, quality wool.
01:32Yeah.
01:33On a pole Ram, yeah.
01:35Yeah.
