00:00 Good morning from the weather forecasting center. This is our update for the next 24 hours.

00:09 We can see here in our latest satellite images, the thick clouds.

00:14 In the northern part of our country, the continuous effect of the southwest monsoon

00:20 or the long and windy western sections of Luzon and Visayas.

00:24 And this morning, we are experiencing heavy rains,

00:30 with heavy snowfall and lightning, and also heavy rains brought by the storm

00:34 here in the northern and central part of Luzon and also in the area of Palawan.

00:40 We expect that these rains will sustain,

00:42 which means for the rest of the day, we will experience cloudy conditions and high chances of rain.

00:49 Here in the southern part of Luzon, including Metro Manila, we expect mostly cloudy conditions today.

00:56 We also expect high chances of thunderstorm activity from the afternoon to the evening.

01:03 In the southern part of our country, in the whole of Visayas and in the area of Mindanao,

01:08 we expect fair weather conditions, hot and rainy weather,

01:13 aside from the usual late afternoon to evening rain showers or thunderstorms.

01:20 We also expect that until tomorrow, Sunday,

01:24 the heavy rains and storms will continue in the western sections of Luzon.

01:28 So in the areas I mentioned earlier, the western section of northern Luzon and the area of Palawan,

01:35 the heavy rains and storms will continue until tomorrow.

01:38 But starting Monday until Wednesday next week, we will experience improving weather conditions in the areas I mentioned.

01:45 So the whole country, the whole Philippines, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao,

01:48 we will experience generally fair weather conditions starting Monday until Wednesday next week.

01:54 Even so, we are still expecting a strong wind effect,

01:57 so the chances of thunderstorm activity, which are sudden and quick rain showers,

02:03 will still be high in the northern part of our country.

02:07 At the moment, we are still not being monitored or monitored by a low-pressure area

02:12 or any bad weather inside and outside our Philippine Area of Responsibility

02:17 that could affect our country in the coming days.

02:21 And for the current weather conditions here in Luzon,

03:17 The maximum temperature forecast for Metro Manila today is 32 degrees Celsius.

03:22 30 degrees Celsius in Tagaytay and 33 degrees Celsius in Legazpi City.

03:28 In the areas of Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao,

03:32 this part of Palawan, due to the effects of the storm,

03:35 we expect cloudy conditions and high chances of rain.

03:39 In Visayas and Mindanao, we will experience hot and cloudy weather.

03:44 We will still bring rain coverings in the afternoon and evening

03:49 due to the increasing chances of thunderstorm activity in the mentioned areas.

03:54 And in the early morning, we will experience rain in the area of Mindanao,

03:59 particularly in the regions of Northern Mindanao and Davao Region.

04:05 So for the remainder of the day, later in the morning and afternoon,

04:09 the weather in the mentioned areas will gradually become clearer.

04:13 But if it reaches the afternoon and evening, we expect chances of heavy rain

04:19 due to thunderstorms in a large part of Mindanao.

04:23 The maximum temperature forecast for Puerto Princesa and Calayaan Islands

04:28 is possible to reach 32 degrees Celsius.

04:30 31 degrees Celsius in the area of Iloilo and 33 degrees Celsius in the areas of Cebu and Tacloban.

04:37 The maximum temperature forecast for Cagayan de Oro today is possible to reach 32 degrees Celsius.

04:43 34 degrees Celsius in the area of Davao and 32 degrees Celsius in the areas of Zamboanga.

04:49 In our current weather, there are still no high-level gale warnings in any of our islands.

04:55 And we expect light to moderate clouds in a large part of our country.

05:00 However, our fellow fishermen should still be careful

05:04 because if we have offshore thunderstorm activity,

05:08 which is the rain in our coastal areas,

05:11 we expect strong winds to be the reason for the high clouds.

05:17 The high tide here in Manila will be high around 5.26 in the morning

05:23 and will drop to 6.24 in the afternoon.
