00:11 be headed by Assembly Member Peri Raco-Reta, for having led the list of the most voted political
00:16 movement with the Citizen Revolution Party. The premises of the legislative body in downtown
00:21 Quito were closed to facilitate the access of the participants and vehicles. The National
00:25 Assembly was dissolved by former President Guillermo Lasso, who also shortened his own
00:30 mandate by abiding an impeachment trial, which sought his removal.
