00:00 Welcome to Instant Cooking. Today I am making Bottle Guard Halwa or Lauki Ka Halwa.

00:07 For this we need Bottle Guard, Clarified Butter, Fresh Cream, Rose Water (Optional) and Milk.

00:17 This is 2 litre Milk. I have reduced it to 1 litre.

00:22 Firstly grate the Bottle Guard. This is around 300 grams of Bottle Guard.

00:31 We have grated the Bottle Guard. Now take a pan.

00:36 Add 3 to 4 teaspoon of clarified butter or ghee.

00:43 Let it melt. Now add the grated Bottle Guard.

00:55 Now mix it on medium flame. Cook it for 5 to 6 minutes till the moisture

01:01 of Bottle Guard will evaporate. So it's almost 6 to 7 minutes I am cooking

01:09 this Bottle Guard. Now we will add reduced Milk.

01:16 This is around 1 litre of Milk. Mix it well.

01:23 And on low flame mix it continuously and cook till this Halwa is thick.

01:32 It will take around 6 to 7 minutes. Now you can see our Milk is thicken.

01:39 So put on high flame and stir continuously for around 2 minutes.

01:45 Now again put it on medium flame and put 1 teaspoon of Rose Water.

01:51 Mix it well. Now add Fresh Cream.

01:57 Half a bowl of Fresh Cream just to give richness and creamy texture to our Halwa.

02:03 Mix it well. Now add Sugar as per your taste.

02:11 Now mix it and cook for another 1 minute. And after 1 minute your very delicious Lauki
