Today we are going to make a traditional Maharashtrian sweet recipe, Puranpoli.

Traditionally we soak and grind the chana dal and make it.

But today we are going to make it with a very easy method, Puranpoli.

So let's make Puranpoli.

To make Puranpoli, we have washed 1 cup chana dal well.

And we have soaked it in water for 5-6 hours.

Now we will cook it.

We have separated the water from the chana dal.

Now we will cook it in the pressure cooker.

We will add 6 cups of water.

We will add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder.

We will close the pressure cooker.

And we will cook it in medium flame for 4-5 whistles.

4 whistles have passed, we will turn off the flame and open the pressure cooker.

Till the time the pressure cooker cools down, we will prepare the dough.
