00:00 Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim.
00:04 Alhamdulillah alladhi binimatihi tatimu salihat, wa ala fadlihi almuawwal fee jamee'il halat,
00:11 wa ala sayyidina Muhammad sayyidil bariyat, afdalu salawat wa taslimat, wa ala alihi wa
00:20 sahbihi wa man tabi'ahum bi ihsanim minal mu'mineena wal mu'minat.
00:28 Asalam o alikum dear viewers and listeners, once again we are here with the program Sarmaya
00:35 Aslaaf. Today our topic is great thinker, commentator, researcher, researcher, historian,
00:42 jurist, scholar, principled, eloquent, Musnadul Hind, Imam Shah Qutubuddin Ahmad Waliullah
00:53 bin Abdul Rahim Dehlavi Rahimahullah, who passed away in 1176 AH.
01:00 Dear viewers, in our great city of Pakistan, one person has passed away in knowledge and
01:07 wisdom. In knowledge and grace, in the knowledge of the outward world, one scholar has passed
01:14 away. And in the knowledge of the inner world, one person has passed away.
01:20 But if we talk about scholars of knowledge and grace, and if I am told to rate those
01:27 personalities who are the most prominent in knowledge and grace, who are top of the list,
01:32 then I will mention three personalities who are the most prominent in terms of their knowledge
01:39 of outward and inner world, in terms of their services, in terms of everything.
01:45 Among them, Musnadul Hind Shah Waliullah Muhaddith Dehlavi Rahimahullah, second Allama Abdul
01:50 Hai Lakhnavi Farangi Mahli Rahimahullah, third, the great Imam Ahmad Radha Khan Rahimahullah.
01:56 These three personalities are the ones who have the knowledge of outward and inner world.
02:01 Then in the knowledge of outward world, these scholars of knowledge and grace are the ones
02:06 who have both knowledge and grace.
02:08 The title of knowledge and grace is the one who is truthful to these personalities.
02:14 Then they have their own characteristics.
02:17 Some of them have special qualities in their art.
02:21 But overall, if we rate all of them, then in the knowledge of outward and inner world,
02:26 the most prominent, when the date of knowledge is written, the most prominent will be the
02:30 names of these three personalities.
02:32 By ignoring them, the date of knowledge and art cannot be written in the knowledge of
02:36 outward and inner world.
02:38 The first personality among them is Shah Waliullah Muhaddith Dehlavi Rahimahullah.
02:44 We will discuss his words today.
02:47 What does Shah Waliullah Muhaddith Dehlavi Rahimahullah have to say?
02:50 Since you have come to this world of knowledge and grace, the scholars of the Ummah and
02:58 the Sufis have continuously presented you with the gift of grace, tribute, and
03:06 humility.
03:08 There is no scholar in the Barihisir Pak-o-Hind who is not grateful to you.
03:15 The great scholars and scholars of the Barihisir Pak-o-Hind who will come after you,
03:20 their knowledge and tradition, especially in the Hadith, their tradition goes beyond
03:25 your means.
03:27 Your tradition is common in every house of the scholars, Shah Waliullah Dehlavi Rahimahullah.
03:34 For Shah Waliullah, Allama Fadliha Khairabadi Rahimahullah, who was a great scholar,
03:40 he has his own school of thought, which is called Madrasa-e-Khairabad, and he is called
03:45 the fourth scholar of the region.
03:48 Allama Fadliha Khairabadi Rahimahullah said for Shah Waliullah's Qibla and for your
03:52 praise, "La Baharun Zakhkhar" that this is a sea that is full of waves, a sea of
04:01 waves, "La Yura Lahu Sahil" its shore is not visible, it is a sea of waves.
04:08 This is his comment on both Hazrat Qibla Shah and your praise.
04:13 A great scholar commented for you that your example is the example of the tree of Taiba,
04:18 whose root is in the house of Shah Waliullah and its branches are in all the houses of
04:26 all the Muslims in the land of Pakistan and India, whether he knows it or not.
04:36 You have served the religion of knowledge and art, you have played such a leading role
04:41 in the propagation of religion.
04:43 Your faiz is spread all over the world, especially in the land of Pakistan and India,
04:48 the guidance in the circles of knowledge and virtue, and especially in the case of Hadith,
04:52 it is from the footsteps of Hazrat Qibla Shah Sahib, it is the result of your faiz and
04:57 companionship, you and your followers have spread it in the land of Pakistan and India.
05:03 Hazrat Qibla Shah Sahib is the famous Qutubuddin Ahmad Waliullah.
05:09 When you were to be born, your father, Hazrat Qibla Shah Abdul Rahim Dehlvi, was also a
05:16 great scholar and a scholar.
05:18 In his dream or observation, Hazrat Khwaja Qutubuddin Bakhtiar Qaqi, who is the
05:25 disciple of Hazrat Khwaja Muinuddin Chishti Ajmeri, gave you the glad tiding in a dream
05:30 or observation that the name of your son will be in my name.
05:34 Hazrat Shah Sahib says that when I was born, my father forgot this and he named me
05:39 Waliullah.
05:40 But when he remembered this dream or observation after a long time, then he
05:46 added Qutubuddin Ahmad to my name.
05:49 So this is how your full name was Qutubuddin Ahmad Waliullah.
05:53 But you are more famous in the name of Waliullah, this name is used more.
05:58 Shah Waliullah Muddas Dehlvi is called Musnadul Hind.
06:02 Which art is it that you do not have a grasp on, that you do not have a long arm?
06:08 You look at Tafseer, you look at Hadith, you look at history, you look at Fiqh, you
06:13 look at the principles of Fiqh, you look at the knowledge of speech, you look at logic
06:18 and philosophy, you look at Sufism, you look at the Umraniyat.
06:21 In all these sciences and arts, we see Hazrat Qibla Shah Sahib as Shah, meaning
06:26 Badshah.
06:27 The lineage of Hazrat Shah Sahib Qibla was not the family of the Prophet.
06:31 What is called Shah to you is not in the sense of Sayyid, that is, in the sense of
06:35 the family of the Prophet.
06:36 Rather, in our Barseer Pako Hind, Shah is said to be for the religious person.
06:40 The religious person is called Shah, whether he is the family of the Prophet or not.
06:45 So, as Shah Ahmad Nurani Sahib is called Shah, he was a Siddiqi.
06:50 In the sense of Muazzam-e-Deeni, he was called Shah.
06:53 Similarly, Shah Waliullah Dehlvi is also called Shah.
06:57 He is called Shah as Muazzam-e-Deeni.
07:00 The king's Mukhafaf, Shah, meaning a great man, an elder.
07:04 You were not the family of the Prophet, but your lineage is from the father.
07:09 You are Farooqi from the father, and from the mother you are Qazmi Hussaini Syed.
07:17 Your mother was Bibi Fakhrun Nisa, she is from the family of Imam Musa Qadim.
07:23 Her lineage is from the family of Imam Musa Qadim to Imam Hussain.
07:28 Your mother was Qazmi Hussaini Syed.
07:31 And your mother's name is Fakhrun Nisa, your mother was also a great scholar.
07:35 In the book it is written that she was her own example in both knowledge, art and righteousness.
07:44 And as her name was, so was her personality.
07:47 She was a qualified name.
07:49 Her name was a qualified name, not an unqualified name.
07:52 Like the name Fakhrun Nisa, Fakhrun Nisa means the pride of women.
07:56 So in fact, she was the pride of the women of her time in knowledge, art and righteousness.
08:01 She was worthy of being proud of.
08:03 And the name Fakhrun Nisa is her name, and it is also the title for her.
08:09 Her personality was also completely honest.
08:12 So the family of Shah Sahib Qibla was also a family of knowledge and spirituality.
08:17 Your father, Shah Abdul Rahim Delvi Rai Maula, was a scholar, a scholar, a sheikh of the Alia Naqshbandiya, a muhaddith and a jurist.
08:26 Your mother was a great scholar and a scholar.
08:28 Similarly, your grandfather was also a great scholar and a scholar.
08:31 You have written a book in your book, Anfasul Aarifeen, which is a collection of seven books.
08:36 In that, you have written a book for your father, Shah Abdul Rahim Delvi Rai Maula, and a book for your grandfather.
08:44 You have written a book on the circumstances of your grandfather.
08:48 And you have told that your grandfather was also a great scholar and a scholar.
08:53 Your younger brother, Shah Abdul Rahim Delvi Rai Maula, was also a scholar and a scholar.
09:01 He was a great scholar and a scholar.
09:02 And he was a student of Shah Abdul Rahim Delvi Rai Maula.
09:04 Similarly, your uncle was Sheikh Abu Raza Muhammad Rai Maula.
09:07 He was also a great scholar.
09:09 You have also mentioned the details of your uncle's circumstances in Anfasul Aarifeen.
09:14 He was also a great personality.
09:16 He was from the family of Allah.
09:17 He was a saint of Allah.
09:18 And he was counted among the perfect saints.
09:20 Sheikh Abu Raza Muhammad Rai Maula.
09:22 Then we see that your mother's brother, your uncle, was also a great scholar and a scholar.
09:33 Similarly, your uncle's brother, your relative's brother, your wife's brother,
09:42 Hazrat Shah Ashik Fulti Rai Maula,
09:44 your uncle's brother, your cousin, your relative's brother,
09:47 your student, your caliph,
09:49 he was also a great scholar and a scholar.
09:52 He was a follower of the insistence of Hazrat Shah Sahib Rai Maula.
09:55 And he loved Hazrat Shah Sahib very much.
09:57 He has also collected the words of Hazrat Shah Sahib Rai Maula.
10:00 It is the adornment of our table.
10:01 Al Qaulul Jali Fi Zikr-e-Athar-e-Wali
10:04 In the name of this, he has published a whole book.
10:07 In this book, he has also collected the circumstances of Hazrat Shah Abdul Rahim Delvi Rai Maula.
10:12 Circumstances, events, effects, and similarly, he has also collected your words.
10:16 Al Qaulul Jali Fi Zikr-e-Athar-e-Wali
10:18 And the most authentic book on the circumstances of Hazrat Shah Sahib Qibla,
10:24 the most authentic book is in the context of Shah Abdullah,
10:27 after your own writings,
10:29 after the writings of Shah Sahib,
10:31 the most authentic book in your context is this,
10:34 Al Qaulul Jali Fi Zikr-e-Athar-e-Wali
10:36 which was compiled by your uncle's brother and student of the Caliph,
10:39 Shah Ashik Fulti Rai Maula.
10:41 Similarly, the writings of Shah Sahib Qibla,
10:43 that too, by Shah Ashik Fulti,
10:45 he has compiled them as well.
10:46 And his son, Shah Abdul Rahman Fulti Rai Maula,
10:49 he has compiled them.
10:50 He has compiled one part of the writings,
10:52 and one part of the writings has been compiled by his son.
10:55 That too, has been published.
10:57 In two parts, one is the rare writings,
10:59 in the name of Shah Waliullah Delvi,
11:01 its translation and its research has been published.
11:03 Naseem Ahmed Fardi Sahib has published it.
11:05 It is the adornment of our table, it is in my hand.
11:07 Similarly, the second part of it is in the name of Shah Waliullah's political writings.
11:10 It has been published with the research of Khaliq Ahmad Nizami Sahib.
11:13 So, Shah Sahib's writings and his words,
11:16 this too is a treasure trove of knowledge and wisdom.
11:20 The writings and the writings of great people,
11:23 both are a treasure trove of knowledge and wisdom.
11:25 So, Shah Sahib, as he was a great scholar,
11:27 and a great scholar,
11:28 so in both his writings and his words,
11:31 in terms of knowledge and wisdom,
11:33 there are very excellent, valuable,
11:35 priceless points.
11:38 And in the writings, the real opinion,
11:41 the real analysis of a person,
11:44 a book, or an art,
11:47 or any specific matter,
11:49 the real analysis and analysis of it,
11:51 the way it is in the writings,
11:54 it is not in the ordinary public writings.
11:57 Because in the public writings,
11:58 the authors generally keep in mind
12:00 whether the public is capable of accepting it or not,
12:04 whether the public can understand it or not,
12:06 whether it is beyond their mind.
12:07 Whereas in the writings,
12:09 the person who is writing it,
12:11 according to his mental level,
12:13 because he is talking to it,
12:14 so some high points, analysis,
12:17 and priceless comments,
12:19 and their real opinion,
12:21 which is presented through the writings,
12:23 sometimes it is not presented through books.
12:26 That is why the writings of scholars are always given a status,
12:31 and the writings of scholars are also given a status.
12:34 So, the collections of Shah Sahib's Kibla are also very excellent,
12:37 and are at rare points,
12:39 and similarly, your words are also worth studying,
12:41 and you should take advantage of it.
12:43 Then we have your children in your family,
12:45 especially your sons.
12:47 You had five sons out of your sons.
12:48 The eldest son was Shah Muhammad,
12:50 he was also a great scholar.
12:52 The second son was Shah Abdul Aziz Muhaddith,
12:54 he was also a great scholar.
12:55 The third son was Shah Rafiuddin Abdul Wahab,
12:59 he was also a great scholar.
13:01 The fourth son was Shah Abdul Qadir,
13:04 he was also a great scholar.
13:05 The fifth son was Shah Abdul Ghani Dehlvi Rahimullah,
13:07 he was also a great scholar.
13:09 In short, Shah Sahib's entire family,
13:12 was an intellectual family,
13:14 a family of scholars, scholars, and scholars.
13:17 And from the intellectual family,
13:20 the family of scholars,
13:22 which is said in Arabic,
13:23 was your family of scholars.
13:25 Your family was intellectual,
13:27 and intellectual family.
13:28 And Shah Sahib's Kibla,
13:29 because it is a family,
13:30 you had two marriages,
13:32 your first wife's name was Amatur Rahim Fatima,
13:35 and your second wife's name was Bibi Iradat.
13:38 Your first wife was the daughter of your uncle,
13:42 Shah Obaidullah,
13:43 and the sister of Shah Ashik Fulti.
13:45 And the second wife,
13:46 who was from the family of Siddiq,
13:48 and your second wife,
13:50 Bibi Iradat,
13:51 she was the daughter of Sayyid Sanaullah,
13:54 and she was Sayyidin Aal-e-Rasool.
13:56 And both of your marriages,
13:57 she was also a pious, pious,
13:59 and in her own way,
14:00 she was an example.
14:01 Now we come to the teachers of Shah Sahib Rahimullah,
14:04 that Shah Sahib Kibla's teachers.
14:06 So the knowledge you gained,
14:08 at the age of about 15,
14:10 you were in the Raij Ulum-e-Fanoon,
14:12 Murawwaj, the official Ulum,
14:13 you had graduated from them,
14:15 and you were given the Dastar-e-Fadhilatab.
14:18 And the knowledge you gained,
14:20 you gained from your father,
14:21 Shah Abdul Rahim Muhaddith Dilvi Rahimullah.
14:24 The teacher you benefited the most from,
14:27 was your father.
14:28 And then you did the Bai'at at the age of 17,
14:30 you did the Bai'at from your father.
14:32 At the age of 17,
14:33 when you reached,
14:34 your father gave you Khilafat,
14:36 and Khirqa as well.
14:38 Meaning you had the Dastar-e-Fadhilat
14:40 at the age of about 15,
14:41 and at the age of 17,
14:43 you got Khirqa and Khilafat.
14:45 So the most you gained,
14:46 you gained from your father,
14:48 who is your father,
14:49 your teacher, and your Murshid.
14:51 Then at the second number,
14:52 the teachers you benefited from,
14:54 are Hazrat Allama Afzal Sialkoti Dilvi Rahimullah.
14:58 You benefited from them.
14:59 Then when you did Safar-e-Hajj,
15:01 for about 14 months,
15:02 you spent in Haramain,
15:04 you benefited from many Shuyukhs.
15:07 The Shuyukhs you benefited from,
15:09 I will briefly mention their names.
15:11 Hazrat Sheikh Jamaluddin Abu Tahir Muhammad bin Ibrahim Shafi'i
15:15 Kurdi Madani Rahimullah.
15:17 He was Mufti-e-Shafi'ah in the Ottoman Empire.
15:20 He served as Mufti-e-Shafi'ah for a long time.
15:23 Most of all, Shah Sahib benefited from him in the Arab Shuyukhs.
15:26 He received the blessings of Hadith from him.
15:29 He also granted Khilafat to Shah Sahib.
15:31 Then there was a senior,
15:33 Sheikh Tajuddin Muhammad bin Abdul Mohsin Qal'i Hanafi Maki Rahimullah.
15:36 He was also a Mufti-e-Hanafi'ah in the Ottoman Empire.
15:40 Shah Sahib benefited from him.
15:42 He is your second teacher.
15:43 By the way, he is the fourth,
15:44 and second in the Arab Shuyukhs.
15:46 Then there was a teacher,
15:47 Sheikh Shamsuddin Muhammad bin Ahmed.
15:49 Then there was Sheikh Salim bin Abdullah bin Salim Basri.
15:51 Then there was Sheikh Abdul Karim bin Yusuf Ansari Hanafi Maki.
15:54 Then there was Sheikh Abu Hafiz Najmuddin Syed Omar bin Ahmed.
15:56 Then there was Sheikh Muhammad Wafdullah Maliki.
15:58 Then there was Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Ahmed.
16:00 Then there was Sheikh Syed Abdullah bin Ali,
16:02 Shafi'i Hindi Rahimullah.
16:04 These are the Arab Shuyukhs.
16:05 If you want to know the details of the Arab Shuyukhs,
16:08 then Shah Sahib has his own message,
16:10 "Insaanul A'een Fi Mashayikhil Haramayn"
16:13 which is also present in "Anfasul Arifeen".
16:15 You can see it in that.
16:17 And then there is a book published by me,
16:19 "Shah Waliullah Muhaddith Dalvi ki Arab Mashayikh".
16:22 In this book, you are introduced to the teachers
16:24 from whom you have benefited in the Arabian Haramayn.
16:28 This is a book worth reading.
16:30 You should also benefit from it.
16:32 It is a very good book.
16:33 Then there is Shah Sahib's book, "Kibla Rahimullah".
16:35 It is like a talamiza.
16:36 Because in the activities that Shah Sahib has done,
16:38 one of them is that he has prepared the rijal,
16:41 he has prepared the people.
16:42 He was a personality creator.
16:44 He has given special emphasis to the creation of people.
16:47 He has prepared a great scholar in every art.
16:50 He has taught for a long time.
16:52 Similarly, the great collection of writings and talifat
16:56 that you have left,
16:57 I will talk about it in the future.
16:58 Similarly, the reforms that you have done in the arts and sciences of that time,
17:03 the critical analysis that you have taken,
17:05 the research and analytical analysis that you have taken,
17:08 and the critical analysis that you have done
17:10 of the arts and sciences,
17:11 of the circumstances,
17:12 and of the causes of the rise and fall,
17:14 and then the things that you have identified for it,
17:17 the diseases that you have identified and the treatment that you have suggested for it,
17:20 the construction and development of Muslims,
17:23 those are also examples of you and are worth using.
17:26 So, there is a large number of talamizas of Shah Sahib.
17:28 I will briefly mention a few of those special talamizas.
17:31 One is Qazi Sanuallah Panipati Rahimullah,
17:34 the author of "Tafseer-e-Mazhari".
17:35 His "Tafseer-e-Mazhari" is very famous and is published.
17:37 And he himself was the son of Shah Abdul Aziz Mohaddas Dilvi,
17:40 the son of Shah Abdul Aziz.
17:41 He used to call him "Bai Haqiye Waqt",
17:43 that is, he was such a great scholar,
17:44 Qazi Sanuallah Panipati Rahimullah.
17:46 Then there is a student of yours,
17:48 Allama Syed Murtaza Zabeedi Hanafi Rahimullah.
17:50 He is also a great scholar.
17:52 This word is with the "Zabeedi" letter.
17:55 Some people read "Zubaidi".
17:56 This was the area of Zabeedi Yemen,
17:58 and it is called Zabeedi in relation to it.
18:00 Zubaidi is also related to it.
18:02 Some narrations of Hadith are Zubaidi.
18:04 But this Allama Syed Murtaza Hussaini,
18:06 he is Zabeedi,
18:08 the area of Yemen is called Zabeedi in relation to it.
18:10 His book of literature is very famous, "Taj-ul-Aroos".
18:13 Similarly, his other book is very famous,
18:15 "Ihya Ulum-e-Deen-e-Maam Ghadali",
18:17 he has written a couplet for it,
18:18 "Ithaafus Saadatil Muttakeen".
18:21 People call it "Ithaaf".
18:23 This is also "Ithaaf".
18:24 "Athaafu Yudhaafu Ithaafan Baabe-e-Faal"
18:27 There are many other books of his,
18:29 but these two books are his examples.
18:31 Excellent books are counted.
18:33 One is "Taj-ul-Aroos" and the other is "Ithaafus Saadatil Muttakeen".
18:35 Then there is a student of Shah Sahib,
18:37 Mukhdum Muin Thattavi,
18:38 who is famous by the name of Mian Tharo.
18:40 Similarly, Shah Abdulaziz Muhaddis Zalvi,
18:42 who was mentioned by your great-grandson,
18:44 Shah Ashik Phulti Rahi Maula,
18:46 Shah Ashik Phulti's grandsons,
18:49 Shah Abdur Rahman Phulti,
18:51 and Shah Sahib's younger brother, Shaharullah,
18:53 who was mentioned earlier.
18:55 Then we see Allama Muhammad Saeed Rahi Maula,
18:58 who was also a dear student of Shah Sahib.
19:00 His son was Abdul Ghani,
19:02 his son was Abdul Ali,
19:04 his son was Abdul Ghani,
19:05 and his son was Hakim Najm-ul-Ghani Khan Rampuri.
19:08 He is also a famous author,
19:09 a famous scholar.
19:10 He has many books,
19:11 and is a well-known author of Hakim Najm-ul-Ghani Khan Rampuri.
19:15 Then we see a student of yours,
19:17 Khwaja Ameen Waliullahi,
19:19 who was also a dear student of yours,
19:21 and Shah Abdulaziz Muhdis Zalvi,
19:22 who is also the teacher of your great-grandson.
19:24 Then we see Allama Noorullah Phulti Rahi Maula,
19:27 who is also the teacher of Shah Abdulaziz Muhdis Zalvi,
19:30 and also his father-in-law.
19:31 He is a dear student of Shah Waliullah Sahib,
19:33 and also the teacher of Muhdis Zalvi Rahi Maula,
19:35 a dear student of him,
19:36 and he is the father-in-law and teacher
19:38 of your son Shah Abdulaziz Muhdis Zalvi.
19:40 We have already discussed Shah Sheikh Phulti Rahi Maula.
