A drug dealer who disguised drugs as sweets and chocolate and posted them to buyers has been jailed. Police raided Elliot Kennedy's large-scale drug dealing base in Erdington, last March - and found £121,000 worth of drugs. He was jailed for seven and a half years at Birmingham Crown Court last Friday
Two men were taken to hospital with stab wounds following disorder on the Stratford Road in Sparkhill Tuesday night. Emergency services discovered two men with serious injuries following the disorder. An investigation was launched by West Midlands Police.
Bus fare rises in Birmingham have been halted following a U-turn by National Express West Midlands. Most single bus journeys in the West Midlands are to stay capped at £2 until at least the end of October. The current network is at around 90% of pre-COVID levels.
