Plans for a new housing development in Cardiff have been approved by the council. The new 2500 house estate will include a primary school, land for a secondary school, restaurants, a gp and a supermarket. Some have questioned the plans though, saying it will cause major delays when the site is being built.

Residents of Merthyr Tydfil may be paying more council tax soon as the council votes on plans to increase rates. A 4.7 percent rise in tax has been proposed by the council, which will be voted on next week. The proposal also includes a tax reduction scheme aimed at helping those struggling to pay their council tax.

Former Wales fullback Neil Taylor has joined the coaching staff for the national side’s under 21’s Euro 2025 campaign. Taylor had 43 caps for Wales, scoring his only goal in Wales’ 3-0 win over Russia at Euro 2016, where Wales famously reached the semi finals.
