Strike action across the country has affected a number of different services as schools close and train journeys are cancelled around Wales. A number of different unions went on strike on Wednesday, with a rally in the centre of Cardiff.

Caerphilly Council has announced that the town will host its first ever pride event this year. Pride Caerfilli will take place in June this year, and Council deputy leader said the event will be a way of listening to the voiced of the LGBTQ+ community across Caerphilly.

The Auditor General of Wales has said the Welsh government acted with ‘avoidable haste’ in their purchase of a farm for Greenman Festival. Plaid Cymru questioned why the Labour Government acted without a proper business plan, while the Conservatives in the Senedd called the purchase of the Crickhowell farm.
