What’s on in March: Glasgow Film Festival returns

Glasgow Film Festival has returned with a full lineup, showcasing the best of Scottish film and exploring all corners of world cinema.
From the 1st of March until the 12th, you can attend what claims to be one of the friendliest film festivals on the planet, and watch screenings at various venues across the city - including Glasgow Film Theatre and Renfrew Street’s Cineworld - as well as online.
Next up, ahead of International Women’s Day, A Women of the World festival is set to kick off at the Oran Mor on Sunday 5th March.
The fundraising event will take place between 2 and 4 pm, and includes a full programme of speakers and performers.
And keeping in with this theme, McChuill’s Bar is also hosting a Women’s Day event on the 9th March.
The band Dusk Amadeus will be playing with support from Pharmacy House and Teose, alongside independent art stalls showcasing work by female artists.
