The farming and rural show has been running since 1844 at the same place at the same time every year, and attracts thousands of visitors to the small welsh town showcasing their equipment and technologies as well as giving families a great opportunity to experience farming and outdoor fun, with the Usk show taking place on the 9th September.

The Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust are hosting their second ever Welsh Game Fair later on this month with hundreds of stalls, debates, exhibitions, food and drink, and animals all coming to the Vanyol Estate near Bangor. The event will have falconry, clay shooting and family experiences, all taking place on the 9th and 10th of September.

And of course, mark your diaries because you can’t miss this one. Porthcawl is set to be stormed by thousands of visitors from across the globe during the annual Elvis festival later on this month. The event is said to be the biggest of its kind anywhere in Europe, with 20 venues hosting shows, and more wigs and sunglasses than you can begin to count. Taking place on the 22nd until the 24th of September.
