The travelling rum festival is returning to the city’s Briggait building on 2 and 3 June.

In both afternoon and evening sessions, attendees can try over 100 rums and cocktails, with exclusive samples from a range of brands on offer.

The event also includes live entertainment and dancing, as well as expert guidance for beginners trying rum for the first time.

Next up, Paintings on the Railings will be at the Botanic Gardens on Saturday 3 June, an annual outdoor display for local artists to showcase and sell their work.

This will include paintings, drawings, ceramics and jewellery, with the event running between 10am and 5pm.

The long-running gallery launched at the park in 1996 and also regularly takes place at different locations across Glasgow.

And finally, the Ashton Lane annual summer street party is set to take place on the 24 and 25 June.

Businesses throughout the lane will be participating including the Ubiquitous Chip, Ramen Dayo, and Jinty McGinty’s with a food and drinks line up arranged by each venue.

Attendees of all ages are welcome, with DJs and entertainment for children on both days.
