Glasgow is well renowned for its vibrant live music scene, which truly comes to life in the summer.

These events are the beating heart of the city - they represent community and togetherness, amplifying its spirit.

Even in the depths of winter there is always somewhere you can watch a musician play every night of the week.

So it gets all the more exciting when outdoor stages start getting built ready for the warmer weather.

So, as July comes around here is a number of big gigs taking place across Glasgow over the next month.

00:12a musician play every night of the week. So it gets all the more exciting when outdoor stages
00:17start getting built ready for the warmer weather. So as July comes around here's a number of big
00:22gigs taking place across Glasgow over the next month. The Queen's Park Arena stage has been set
00:27up for a series of events throughout summer. The Smyths, Adam Strap and Warm Dishr are all
00:32playing between the 3rd and the 5th of July with tickets still available on Ticket Scotland.
00:36Billie Eilish is taking over the OVO Hydro on the 7th to the 8th of July. The gig is sold out but
00:41resale tickets are regularly becoming available on Ticketmaster so if you're still hoping to head
00:46along keep an eye out and you might get lucky. Kendrick Lamar and SZA are then taking over Hamden
00:51on the 8th of July as part of their grand national tour. Then Catfish and the Bottlemen will
00:57be playing Glasgow Green on Wednesday the 9th of July on the stage set up for Transmit that
01:02following weekend. There are still day and weekend tickets available for Transmit taking place from
01:07the 11th to the 13th of July possibly the biggest event in Glasgow during summer. The Friday will see
01:1350 cent headline with performances by The Script, Twin Atlantic and Confidence Man. The Saturday will see
01:19Comarnic Trio, Biffy Clyde will return, Fontaines DC, Inhaler and Wonder Horse and Sunday will come Snow
01:26Patrol, Gracie Abrams, DeLathams and Rhiann Downey. Then Summer Nice at the Bandstand kicks off in
01:31Kelvin Grove from the 29th of July running until the middle of August which will see the likes of Pill,
