00:00 Blackstock Market is open to the public with more than 2,000 people flocking to

00:05 the Liverpool venue on its first day. We're not just a food market like we

00:08 have live music every night we have obviously live comedy six nights a week

00:13 you know most weeks seven nights a week we don't just it's not we didn't build a

00:17 food market we built an entertainment venue with a food market in it. The new

00:21 seven million pound entertainment destination is the brainchild of hot

00:25 water comedy founders Paul and Binti Blair and will house four theatre spaces

00:29 of varying sizes from a purpose-built and first to open state-of-the-art 590

00:34 seat auditorium one of the largest regular comedy club space in the world

00:38 to a 50 seat studio space along with podcast studios with the venue becoming

00:43 a new home for hot water and the city's legion of comedy fans. I mean I'm from

00:48 Leicester and Liverpool is the best city in the in the country if not the world

00:52 for comedy it's amazing and don't get me wrong some comedians may not go down

00:58 here too well but you know if you're thick-skinned and you're funny that

01:02 everyone will love you. A giant rooftop terrace the largest in Liverpool will

01:06 open later this year and a big screen will show top sporting events while

01:10 special audience with shows will feature legendary guests. I mean they've had

01:15 everyone from Kevin Bishop, Dave Chappelle just like A-list top-of-the-line

01:21 comedians and they love it as well so they must be doing something right.

01:26 Street food vendors in the new food market include Burgerism, Patterson's,

01:31 K-O Grill, La Ross, North Garden and Desserts by Dre. It's accessible it's

01:37 also family-friendly you can bring your dog everyone's welcome here which is the

01:40 whole point of what they wanted to build. Soon to open is a cocktail bar and

01:44 prohibition style bar whiskey and water offering more than 300 different

01:49 whiskeys as well as live jazz and blues music. Adding to its unique charm the
