Alice — Alice 1970 (France, Progressive Rock)

Group from Paris, active 1970-1973. In such a short period of time, the composition has changed several times. In 1970, under a contract with Byg Records, the ensemble recorded two singles: "De L'Autre Côté Du Miroir / Viens" and "Le Nouveau Monde / Que Pouvons-Nous Faire Ensemble?" and began work on the first LP released the same year. According to eyewitnesses, "Alice" composed "very original, melodically rich and very refined music with an abundance of fresh ideas and skillfully executed arrangements." With their attempts to create complex and extraordinary rock music, they drew comparisons with such unique bands as Gracious, Czar, Cressida and Fantasy.
