Laurelie — Laurelie 1970 (Belgium, Psychedelic/Progressive Rock)
  • last year
Belgian group from Liege. The undisputed leader of the group is Pierre Raepsaet - guitarist, bassist, backing vocalist and author of most of the group's songs. Since December 1969, work began on the album, which lasted one year. Eric Vion, who previously worked with Pierre Raepsaet in Tenderfood Kids, supervised the recording of the album. It was released in 1970 under the same name on the Triangle Productions label. Despite the excellent reviews, the musicians believed that this was only the experience of the first attempt at writing and were preparing to release a second album, which was supposed to be a cut above the first. Alas, there was nothing else. In 1971, Eric Vion and Pierre Raepsaet helped the Belgian group Jenghiz Khan release a good album, Well Cut.
