Saturnalia — Magical Love 1973 (UK, Psychedelic/Progressive Rock)

The only album by a great English band. The record was produced by Keith Relf ("Yardbirds", "Renaissance"). The music is an occult-oriented psychedelia, slightly reminiscent of the sound of "Jefferson Airplane": a combination of male and female vocals, West Coast acidic guitar sound. Thanks to the slightly rough, but not without grace, vocalist's voice, the album is reminiscent of the work of Julian Jay Savarin and "Julian's Treatment", but with a folk bias. They either recorded their album in 1969, and published it in 1973; whether it was published in 1969 and republished four years later, sources disagree. However, it is known for certain that this was the first album in the world to be released on a 3D picture disc. The plate itself is a picture. Therefore, the vinyl was sold in a transparent plastic bag.
