First 2 albums by a British band formed in 1969 by vocalist/guitarist Jess Roden after his departure from The Alan Bown Set. After releasing two albums on Island Records, Jess Roden left the band in 1972 to pursue a solo career. Guitarist Robbie Blunt soon followed. The rest of the band began recording their third album with vocalist Paul Lockey of The Band Of Joy and guitarist Dan Fone. The group's third and final album, The Smoking Mixture, was released in 1973, this time under the Polydor Records label.
