Introduction
Kerala Style Chilli Lamb is a delicious and exotic dish with an aromatic flavour and enthralling experience. The dish is unique and special with cooked mutton pieces blended with an aromatic peppery mixture. The mutton is marinated with very few spices slowly pressure-cooked until 5-6 whistles. The spice mix, however, consists of zesty spices such as cardamom, cinnamon, black peppercorns, etc. Indian food is known for its spice levels and Kerala, being the land of spices, uses a lot of peppercorns in its dishes. Coconut oil is highly recommended for this dish. This mutton dish can be easily prepared at home with limited ingredients. This is a semi-dry dish and goes well with rice, roti, naan, almost everything. Mutton is rich in proteins and other vital nutrients required for the body.
