Today I am sharing a very popular Indian sweet recipe with u that is Gulab Jamun.These soft sugar syrup soaked balls and there are few versions of making it either with khoya, milk powder, bread or semolina. But I have prepared it using mawa. Hope u will like my recipe do give this a try and share ur experience in comments.
Ingredients
For Gulab Jamun: Mawa / khoya - 2 cups Refined flour/ maida - 1/2 cup Baking powder - 1/2 tsp Oil/ ghee - for frying
For Sugar Syrup: Sugar - 2cups Water - 1 1/2 cups Cardamom/ elaichi powder - 1/2 tsp Yellow food colour/ saffron - a pinch Lemon juice - 1 tsp
