Ingredients: Instant cake prepared in a microwave Egg 1 Sugar 1/3 cup Milk 1 cup Oil 1/3 cup Vanilla essence 1 tsp Flour 1 cup Baking powder 1 tsp Salt 1/4 tsp
Vermicelli Pudding Preparation Milk 1 litre Vermicelli 1/3 cup 2 tbsp cornflour or custard powder mixed with a little milk Sugar 3 tbsp Warm jam or jelly Melted chocolate for garnishing Strawberries and bananas or any fruit of your choice
Method: To prepare the cake, mix the wet ingredients well. Then fold-in the dry ingredients. Microwave for 3-5 minutes, checking in between. If the surface of the cake seems dry prick the cake with a toothpick or knife. If it comes out clean it is ready.
Prepare the vermicelli by boiling the milk and adding the vermicelli to it. When the vermicelli is cooked, add the sugar. Then add the cornflour or custard powder mixed with a little milk. Cook till it thickens.
Slice the cake and place in a serving bowl. Spread some warm jam or jelly on the cake. Then pour the vermicelli mixture. Decorate with fruit and garnish with melted chocolate.
