A little further north is Sweden's oldest existing permanent settlement, Sigtuna, which and hasn't lost any of its viking era motifs. Second city Gothenburg is popular for its seafood, craft beer and the lively Liseberg Theme Park; Sweden's most popular. Lapland is popular in winter for the Northern Lights and Christmassy character, as well as its open wilderness and pristine lakes.
