Ingredients
1 ½ cups or 195gms Maida ½ cup or 60 gms Custard Powder ½ tsp Baking Powder 3/4 cup or 120 gms Powdered Sugar ½ cup Tutti Frutti ¼ cup Chopped Cashews ¼ tsp Pineapple Essence ½ cup or 110 gms Butter 5-6 tbsp Milk – as required to bind
Method
- Whisk butter and sugar together. - Sieve maida, custard powder, and baking powder into the mixture. - Mix the batter well and add tutti frutti, cashew nuts, and pineapple essence. - Once they are mixed, with the help of milk bring the batter together. - Divide the dough into two parts and roll them into logs. - Cover them in a cling wrap and refrigerate it for 2 hours. - With a sharp knife, cut it into half inch rounds. - Butter your cookie sheet and wipe it with a tissue. - Place the cookies on the sheet and bake them in a preheated oven at 180° for 12 to 15 minutes. - Allow them to cool down for 10 minutes. - Delicious Tutti-Frutti cookies are ready!
