N. Korea commemorates 7th anniversary of former leader Kim Jong-il's death

Former North Korean leader Kim Jong-il died seven years ago today.
As you might expect,.... North Korea has been paying tribute to him, including the leader Kim Jong-un.
Pyeongyang's state media Korean Central News Agency reported Monday.... that Kim visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun.... to commemorate the death of his father.
This is his first public appearance in two weeks.... since he last visited a shoes factory in Wonsan.
The regime's state-run daily, the Rodong Sinmun, has posted a number of stories about Kim Jong-il since Sunday,... highlighting his achievements in economic development and improving people's livelihoods, rather than his military achievements.
