U.S. commemorates 19th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks

Americans on Friday remembered the 9/11 terrorist attacks that took nearly three thousand lives 19 years ago.
The 19th anniversary was marked by dueling ceremonies in New York City at the September 11 memorial plaza and a corner near the World Trade Center.
The National September 11 Memorial & Museum said their decision to have a pre-recorded reading of the victims' names honored virus precautions and the bereaved families' attachment to being at ground zero on the anniversary.
The 'Tribute in Light,' a commemorative public art installation, was also lit up from dusk to dawn.
